Fleshing Out Curse of Strahd is a series of expansions and elaborations to the core Curse of Strahd campaign. The full series is a DM tool that adds depth to various NPCs, streamlines confusing plot lines, fills in plot holes, and alleviates some of the stress associated with TPK inducing encounters throughout the campaign. 

Within Chapter 7: Van Richten's Tower, you'll find the following:

• A More Player Friendly Tower. Guides on handling the tower's traps so that even early game parties have a chance of surviving its obstacles.
• Quick Reference Tables. Handy charts listing notable NPCs and all the traps associated with the tower.
• A Better Hunter Base. Modified interior loot to turn the tower into a real hideout for the infamous Rudolph van Richten.
• Monster Hunter Write-Ups. Fully expanded and consolidated backgrounds for both Rudolph van Richten and Ezmerelda d'Avenir, the campaign's monster hunters, as well as write-ups on their personalities and combat skills.
• Better Tower Encounters. A rework of the tower's two events so DMs can better run a preliminary encounter with either werewolves or vampire spawn.
• A Modified Journal. A modified and partially rewritten Van Richten's Journal Handout, to better reflect the character and his background.
