ncover the Secrets of Dyvers – The Shining Jewel of the Flanaess
Intrigue, ambition, and a flash of the blade

As the first light of the sun breaks above the horizon and the morning mist rise from the mighty Velverdyva, a duel ends—irrevocably altering two lives. Yet the awakening city pays them no heed. Gates open, sails unfurl, and opportunities stir in the alleys and markets. Down by the river, in the repurposed Lighthouse that serves as Pelor's temple, the clergy begin the Laudes Aurorae, the morning hymn to light, as the city turns its face to the sun, welcoming the promise of new beginnings.
Forged in the shadow of empire and tempered by ambition, this city once served the crown of Aerdy and stood as the first capital of Furyondy, before rising as the jewel of trade on the Nyr Dyv. Now it is something else: a city of nobles, traders, and wanderers—where every coin bears a second face, and every welcome hides a wager. A place where legends are not born—but made, paid for, and betrayed.

Does this work well with the 2nd Edition Sandbox "Slavers" which details the city of Dyvers as well? Or is it completely different?

Great question!

Yes, this guide definitely draws inspiration from the 2nd Edition Slavers adventure. In fact, Slavers was our most important source: the 12 pages detailing Dyvers formed the foundation for the city’s map, history, and key locations.

We’ve built on that material (heavily expanding, sometimes adjusting it) while adding structure, depth, and new adventure hooks for modern sandbox campaigns. We also drew from "From the Ashes" and the "Greyhawk Gazetteer", but Slavers shaped the core.

You’ll find familiar elements throughout, alongside original content developed over more than a decade of actual play.

Thanks for asking—we love Slavers too!

Thanks for responding. We are currently playing through a heavily modified version of Slavers in Greyhawk and the Wild Coast so this will come in super handy!

That’s fantastic to hear!
First of all, a big thank you for purchasing our first guide to Dyvers!
Slavers in Greyhawk and the Wild Coast sounds like a wild ride (pun intended), and we’re really glad our guide can help along the way.

We’re currently working on a follow-up specifically for DMs: a handbook that digs into factions (secret societies), more details about the city, and plot hooks throughout Dyvers and its surrounding regions

We’d be genuinely happy to hear any feedback you might have. What you liked, what you felt was missing, or what you’d love to see expanded in the next volume.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
