Textiles of Eberron Issue 1: Five Nations

“What are they wearing?”
A simple question, that can infuriate any DM or player, it seems trivial to go on and on about a character's clothes, but answer this question elegantly and not only have you elevated your game, you’ve done worldbuilding in ways you’d never realize.

Textiles of Eberron is a supplement which will introduce the idea of Cultural fashion trends to your Eberron. How a Brel dresses differently from a Karrn, and how trends have changed in recent years. The first issue focuses on the most popular parts of the Eberron setting, the Five Nations, as well as an in-depth look at Sharn. Read about subcultures such as the fannon Rudari in Thrane, and how warforged might engage in the hobby of fashion as well. Get lost in the intricacies of what people in the Five Nations wear and elevate your world and characters! Enjoy a unique magazine-like layout, as well as dozens of pictures that elaborate on the text beautifully. Immerse yourself in a world of fashion!

INCLUDING!

2 Subclasses (2024 compatible!):

  • College of the Runway Bard - Don and Doff armor quickly, and strut across the battlefield to give buffs to your allies and conditions to your enemies.
  • Oath of the Sumptuary Law Paladin - Strike fear in the hearts of those breaking the rules of fashion, make quick judgements of your enemies and ruthlessly tear apart their fashion choices.

3 Creature Stat Blocks:

  • The Wooly Elephant - Gentle Giants, perfect for a stampede encounter in Karrnath.
  • The Spider Goat - Creepy Crawlies, maybe they’ve escaped their enclosure from a Vadalis Facility and are now terrorizing the countryside.
  • The Syrannian Sheep - Flying High, Head Empty, there’s nothing like an airship encounter where the Sheep in the hold gets loose, causing havoc in the sky.

Many Items and Trinkets! Including a new low-level extradimensional pocket in the Retailer’s Apron, statistics for Shadowsilk armor, as well as several items to make your heavy armor characters look sexy as hell.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
