Paup Quizzem returns for the greatest gameshow in the multiverse!

The archmage Paup Quizzem has been bringing his games and trivia challenges to adventurers across the planes since he first made his debut in the ENNIE Award-winning "Where Can She Be?" Each quiz and question has been leading up to this: his ultimate gameshow, offering the ultimate prize.

The only question remaining is: who will win it?

Travel to Sigil and team up with NPCs from across the North Bay Dungeon Day (NBDD) series of adventures, testing your wits, skills, and knowledge. Everyone is here, from longtime favorites to minor characters, all ready to join your team or take you down to claim the prize.

It's time for the greatest gameshow! Are you prepared?

A four-hour Tier 3 Planescape adventure, optimized for APL 13.

What You'll Get in The Greatest Gameshow

Eight Games, Infinite Replayability

Players take on three of Paup Quizzem's challenges, plus a final game to win it all. With eight games to choose from and a massive selection of trivia categories and questions, no two playthroughs will ever be alike!

Friends and Fan Favorites Return

The players aren't the only ones invited to compete. Reconnect with familiar faces, from the kenku of Roc Capella to the denizens of Wosh-Teppum to Sen and Lana of Icewind Dale. Longtime recurring characters and one-off NPCs from across the NBDD series are here, each with their own unique abilities and bonuses, to compete with or against the players.

So Much Trivia

It wouldn't be a Paup Quizzem adventure without some trivia, would it? Test your knowledge of D&D lore, including basic player knowledge, classic D&D and Adventurers League adventures, and obscure lore from D&D novels.

Adventurers Arguing Again

The Greatest Gameshow includes the return of Adventurers Arguing, a gameshow where the answers come from real player responses! Over 170 Dungeons & Dragons players filled out our survey, sharing their thoughts on the best planes to visit, spells worth learning, and more.

Did your answer make the list?

Choose Your Foe

For the more combat-oriented players out there, the final battle can range anywhere from a giant goat to a significantly more giant [REDACTED]. Pick your battles wisely...

Also Included

  • 60 pages of adventure, game challenges, NPCs, and a huge selection of monsters
  • VTT-ready maps for any challenges that need them
  • An assortment of tokens for some of the most popular NBDD NPCs, taken from the cover art by the talented Maria Pleasant (née Leung)

This is a great culmination of meeting the colorful cast of NBDD NPCs! The games were especially fun and relatively easy to prepare for. Heads up though, there's a LOT of things to keep track of on the DM side depending on how the teams get formed [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
