Traverse every corner of the Astral Sea and see sights unseen with Captain N’ghathrod’s Tall Tales of Distant Stars.

Included are rules for new Spelljammer ships (Auger, Barreleye, Batfish, Mobula, Velella; and two solo-jammers: Goldfish and Piranha), complete with deck maps, and 15 Wildspace systems with plot hooks:

Ashakspace by Dylan Bockelman – A dying star encased in metal and glass; a planet with lush plants and exotic creatures is in its path of potential destruction. The Ezaloff Corporation’s hands reach for profit as the system starts to fall.

Chaispace by Nick Stefanski – A primary addictive export, Dragonleaf Tea. This potent tea is used by Tasseomancers — wizards with considerable political power in the system.

Crimsonspace by Leo Andrade – A Wildspace system stuck on repeat in the final days of its star’s life, as the local archmages work tirelessly to save it, unbeknownst to the other inhabitants.

Kiasaspace by Kaleton Martinson – Tendrils of cosmic dust leaking from the remains of the Manufactured Sun, washing over hostile and empty worlds and honeycombed asteroids alike.

Lepidopspace by Michelle Churchill – A Wildspace system known for attracting astral butterflies, who migrate to the system’s star — The Guide— when it reaches its peak intensity.

Nidumspace by Marco A Torres – Divine energy of creatures in their last moments from a system brimming with life fuel the star of this system, a thinned veil between life and death are rumored to be hidden in the asteroid belt.

Portentspace by Erin Tierney – A mix of the divine and demonic, this system is a mixing pot of burgeoning empires that orbit a light-emitting divine construct—The Eschaton.

Rimespace by Frederic Walker – The comet “The Wandering Rime” can move through other systems, planetary bodies are dragged to an icy doom in the comet’s tail. A prison hulk spelljammer holds the most dangerous prisoners of ten-dozen systems.

Ringspace by Sean Vas Terra – Remnants of an illithid construction orbit in a ring around a dull red dwarf star being drained slowly by an enormous construct known as The Parasite.

Settispace by StickyHunter – A hub for communications, this system orbits an irregular pulsar star that holds a secret message. A destroyed planet’s core rings like a bell, and denizens mainly live on newly formed rings of a gas giant.

Tempestspace by Jesse Byrd – A raging lightning storm cracks across the system, a city ship known as “Stormstride” sails in a fight against demonic raiding pirates.

Thornspace by Morten Greis –  A Wildspace torn apart to asteroids lined with astral-infused jade and vast oceans. A war wages between the former inhabitants of the system's planets, riding on giant winged insects.

Veilspace by Jordan Carmichael – A dead god lies in pieces, the surviving angels dare not speak of why. Many come to the system in search of lost relics of exceptional power.

Wellspace by Aaryan Balu – A wormhole holds several bodies and vast riches in its pull, spacetime itself warping the closer you get. Few have dared venture deep into the system, those who have scarcely survive.

Xunderspace by Matthew Campbell – In the light of a cold dwarf star lie ginormous abandoned shipyards. A few rich clients still visit for bespoke ships, while pirates lurk at the fringes of the system.

Also included are rules for NPCs and monsters, including new foes like the Ancient Pulsar Dragon, Tasseomancers, Astral Butterflies, and Ceatuns. Each Wildspace system comes with custom hand drawn art, including art of the system's denizens.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
