Fantasy Grounds 5E Stats

Fantasy Grounds 5E Stats

ZIP File

This is an EXECUTABLE FILE for use with the Fantasy Grounds VTT.

Players and DMs love stats! Why not give it to them. With FGStats, you can level up your game with detailed statistics for every character on an awesome interface with discord integration.

FGStats is a standalone application that can go through a host's (DM’s) chat log files to gather all the player statistics for a campaign and display them within the user interface or embed them onto a discord server.

This gives DM’s and players the ability to analyze their player characters to see where they may need improvement or can just be fun to look at.

The program can filter data by game, session, character, and statistic type and can generate text documents.

The discord integrated bot has access to all functions the program has via commands that you can see using the .help command on the discord server the bot was invited to.

I just updated & unzipped the new zip into the same directory. 'Now the generate document' button doesn't work.

Hey Yuri! My program draws directly from the chatlog.html file in your campaign's folder. You can edit this file using something like Visual Studio Code (free) or any other html editor. Should be near the bottom if it was recent. The lines to delete should look something like this:

"<font>Taren Greyleaf: [DAMAGE (M)] Unarmed Strike (Monk) [TYPE: magic, bludgeoning (1d6+5=6)]</font> [d6+5 = 6]<br />"
"<font>Damage [6] -&gt; [to Bone Naga] [STATUS: Heavy]</font><br />"

If you are a statistics nerd (which I am), this little program is by far one of the coolest things for FG and so far one of my favorites. The range of statistics that it generates (by session; cumulative; rankings; totals; hits; misses; initiative rolls - which is a big complaint among my players, etc) is pretty extensive. It takes a little set up with the Discord Bot but the YouTube video and directions are done really well so even a dope like me could figure it out. When I ran into an issue, the developer helped to figure out what was going on and now it works like a charm. It's also interesting to see the different trends etc. and who is lucky and who isn't. Definitely a must have for stat nerds!! So, if your players are looking for bragging rights as to who rolls the most crits or who rolls the most fumbles, like my players, this program definitely is for you.

Is there compatibility for other systems currently (or planned)?

Currently this is only for 5E as the stats work out for that. I don't think it would be too crazy to adapt to other versions of D&D but probably a good amount of work to get it over to another game system entirely.

Windows Defender is reporting that the executable contains a trojan, to be specific Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml
My computer won't let it run and Malwarebytes has quarantined it.
This allows malicious access and attacks to be performed on the users pc. It seems to be a very nasty and potentially harmful trojan.
I really liked the idea of this mod. Care to comment before I report it?

It doesn’t have Windows signed certification. If you run as administrator you won’t reveal that problem. I am NOT the developer, just the salesman, but if you come to our Discord, you can speak directly to the developer and he can address that.

Thanks Rob, I suspected it was a false flag. However this issue will stop people installing and using the product, myself included. My understanding is that Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml isn't just due to a lack of certification but because system files are getting modified. I won't be using the system unless the issue is resolved, this particular trojan is too nasty to risk it. Do you have a refund policy?

We don’t have the power to refund, however DMs Guikd does. I would hope you can first come speak to Christopher Busse (gamingbuddhist). It’s only been on sale for a couple hours. Perhaps in speaking with him he can implement a fix. I’m quite positive he doesn’t even know about the situation. You are the first to report it. Please come and let him know. Depending on where you are please allow him at least 12 hours to respond. It’s 230 am for example where I am.

ThanX Neil.

Just to update, gamingbuddhist has been very open and helpful. I'm 99.99% sure it's a false flag, but I just can't risk it.

Hey Neil. I'm working on getting that code signed but it might require a bit of time to get fully validated. I completely understand why you would have second thoughts about opening something flagged like that.

Code is now signed with a certificate and will not give you any more security warnings from Windows. Check your library for the new file!! Cheers and have an awesome day!

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
