How likely is it that this ever gets released in print?

Well, the Guild's print on demand scheme was cancelled a while ago and is now by invitation only, so the chances are very slim.

Interesting product! Whenever I DM, I always encourage my players (not only clerics/paladins) to worship a god, so I can use them as a plot hook on occasion. I had a couple of questions about (both current and future) content:

1) Is the list of gods (under the medal goals) up to date? I know that some deities only have minor information available, but I was expecting to see Clangeddin Silverbeard, Eilistraee, Gwaeron Windstrom, Hanali Celanil, Kossuth, Milil, Rillifane Rallathil, Shaundakul, Uthgar, ...
2) Since the Drow will be covered under Dark and Monstrous Gods, will this include Deep Duerra and Laduguer?
3) Any plans for the Mulhorandi pantheon?

1) The list of gods is up to date at time of writing. The forgotten realms is absolutely flush with gods, and I make no pretence that the ones I've chosen for this product comprise a truly comprehensive list (though 50+ gods is still pretty good, I like to think). It's likely that I will continue to add errant gods who slipped through the net as I go along, though this is more likely to be the case for better known gods like Kossuth than it is for minor ones like Clangeddin.

2) Drow and Duegar deities will be covered under Dark and Monstrous Gods, including Deep Duerra and Laduguer, Blibdoolpoolp and the rest of the underdark gods.

3) I have no plans to include Mulhorandi/Kara-Turian/etc gods at present. There's more than enough to be getting on with in respect of the core pantheons after all!

Hope this helps

Thank you for the clarification! 50+ gods sure is satisfactory. I was just wondering, is all. I seriously doubt that some of those minor Faerûnian gods will ever feature in our campaigns.
Unfortunately, me and my group had to put D&D on the back burner for now (due to COVID). However, I'm definitely keeping tabs on this product.

Will the Drow gods be included at some point?

It seems from the product description, it will happen if the product hits Platinum in sales. The author released a previous work about piety that did include the Drow gods, so I assume if the sales targets are met he will revise and expand on this previously published material.

Are they not included as Elven gods?

I'm interested, what was this previous work? If it's up somewhere on DM's guild I'll more than likely purchase it!

The previous work was called No Rest for the Wicked, and it covered more gods than here, but in no significant detail, focusing mainly on mechanics. Drow gods will be covered under Dark and Monstrous gods, purely because Lolth ended up there and it seemed reasonable to shove the rest of them in too. Presuming we ever reach Platinum, of course!

God, I really hope this reaches platinum sooner than later. This is probably one of my favourite products on the DM's Guild to be completely honest. Not only do I love the piety system from MOoT, as it incentivises RPing, but I absolutely love the direction you took it! I feel like this is much more interesting (especially with the 3+ piety features giving inspiration instead of just a free spell).

I am extremely excited to see this book. It will save me countless hours trying to figure out the tenants of a god. I'm hoping that at some point, you might choose to do another book for some of the other settings, but stick with this for now. It's fun to pick gods for characters.

I am enjoying reading through this work. You did a good job of expanding and reworking your earlier product No Rest for the Wicked. I know more deities were covered in NRW (hopefully, this one continues to expand), but I appreciate how you fleshed out and refined your ideas in this new supplement.

I am not sure if you play the Elder Scrolls games. But this reminds me of the like champion system . Where you worship a Daedra(God) and you get cool stuff if you help them out!
Cool :)

You can spend an inspiration die to cast plant growth with this trait. Once you cast the spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting
ability for this spell. **You can only use this spell to kill humanoid creatures.**

Hmm something about the above doesn't seem right

Bahaha. That's a blinder. PLANT MURDER.
Well, that's it. The entire thing is ruined.
[I'll fix it in an update at some point.]

First of all, let me start out by saying that this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for over the past few days, so thank you very much! I have no doubt that this will reach the platinum goal, but that will probably take a while. Any chance you'll make some more god bundles available now, specifically the elven and dwarven pantheons? I'm sure that many people, myself included, would be willing to pay a lot for this type of great content!

The medal boundaries are in part a sly way to give me time to finish the content! We're already on the way to Silver, which is great, as the Dwarves and Elves are (I imagine) in demand. I have some of the later gods in note form and others in layout, and if there's a slowdown after Silver I'll consider releasing them anyway with a price adjustment or something.

Awesome, thank you so much! It's hard to find enough content on the Forgotten Realms gods in 5e anyway, so finding this with piety rules was great.

Typo. In the sample, Amaunator, 2nd column second sentence refers to Asmodeus, not Amaunator.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
