Looking for a single tavern supplement for your campaign? You have come to the right place!

To Account for Taverns is a single 8 page supplement that contains tools for the DM to randomly create a Tavern name, npcs and meals! The Supplement also contains a d20 table for random non-combat narrative encounters to bulk out the evening and avoid everyone sitting around in the tavern just drinking ale and waiting to go to bed to get on with the adventure!

Here are a couple of examples of what can be generated in less than 30 seconds:

The Hungy Halfing Tavern. Run by Toby Stoury, an enthusatic human. The specials today are: Smoked beef and Honey-glazed breads.

Or

The Weeping Giant Inn. Run by Ellin Brightboard, a straight talking dwarf. The specials today are Salted pork and Pickled greens.

Some of the random encounters include:

The Innkeepers wife has lost the key to the outhouse. Make a DC 12 Sleight of Hand test as you try to pick the lock. If you succeed refer to the Tavern earnings table as the innkeeper rewards you for your help

Or

You are mistakingly recognized as a folk-lore hero. Make a DC12 deception test if you wish to go along with it. If you succeed the innkeeper provides you with free drinks and half price lodging as the word of your previous good deeds spread.

To Acount for Taverns contains:

12 NPC's with interchanagle personalities.

over 100 different varation of Inn names and meals.

D20 random encounter table including seperate tables for results from a fortune teller, priest and tavern earnings!

All in under 8 pages.

A perfect supplemet for some improv tavens in your campaign.

This is my first publication on the DMs guild, I would find it super helpful if you could kindly rate and review my supplement.
Thanks for downloading and may your dice roll 20s!

Great addition with some well thought out names and encounters. Will look to add into my games for sure, picked up for free but would pay in future! I will keep an eye out for more supplements, really fantastic for your first submission - thanks! [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
