The Fox & The Fey

ADD TO WISHLIST >

After a long day of travel, you stop for a rest on the side of the road near a grove. Just as you set your pack down and take a seat on a rock, an unusually large fox darts out of the bushes, grabs your bag in its jaws, and sprints off into the trees. It's so fast you've no chance to react. Having only just sat down you've had little rest, but now you must give chase or lose your gear.

A tricky adventure for 5th level characters

Lured into the Deep Wode by a wily fox, the heroes meet a forlorn Half-Elf and become embroiled in a plot to rescue their paramour from captivity by a capricious "Earl". Will they succeed and reunite the separated lovers? Or choose a different path and join a wild supernatural hunt through the Feywild? Dare they face the consequences of refusing?

What's Inside:

• A vexing 52 page "long-shot-one-shot" adventure featuring twists of some familiar creatures from the Monster Manual and two original NPC creatures with full stat blocks

• Two original maps of the "Earl's" Hunting Lodge

About the Author: A storyteller across many mediums, writer of many (as yet unpublished) far-fetched fiction novels, video game writer, rock musician (in Chimpanzees), graphic artist. tragic dork, trapped in the fuzzy navel of the UK. Long time player of D&D going back to the 80's with The Quest For The Hearthstone being the first real adventure my friends and I tried to play. This was inspired by the cartoon and toys (especially Warduke) but we could make little sense of the rules to begin with. Persisting, we all became engrossed with the game and played it often, but it took Dragonlance (and Raistlin) for us to become truly smitten with it.

My brother and I grew up with D&D as it evolved through the years, but put it aside when 90's rock and hormones came calling, dabbling here and there. However, when 5e landed we were drawn back in with the promise of a streamlined system and a return to less structured roleplay and fell in-love with it all over again. This eventually led us to start streaming our long running regular games with our group composed of game-industry creatives ("The Misfits"), spurred on by the antics of Acquisitions Incorporated.

I don't get the reference. Please explain. Is this about punctuation? Because you could have just said so and that would've been helpful.

Regardless, I'm steadily making my way through the document to correct minor errors. An updated version will be uploaded asap.

I was just referencing Dora the Explorer. My youngest watched that when he was a kid.

Keep smiling!

Ah yes, thanks for the clarification. I will try to smile. Though I worry my face will break. Will a smirk do? (O_,<)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
