Diapers & Dragons

Just as you finish enjoying your glass of bubbly at your friend's baby shower, you hear, "It's time for our game!" The dwarven emcee wakes the monstrous baby, which immediately bursts into screams. She hands it to you, teeth and claws gnashing. Roll initiative!

Diapers & Dragons is a baby shower game that uses simplified 5E mechanics that are approachable for players of all experience levels! It can work independently, as a one-off game, or integrated into a larger campaign.

The game is built for 4 players (or teams of players) representing different archetypes of baby shower attendees: the expectant parent(s), the grandparents, the childless friends, and the kid cousins. Each team receives a simplified character sheet and enters a race to change, feed, and soothe the baby they've been handed.

No D&D/TTRPG experience is expected from the players—the simplified rules make it easy to roll a d20 and get going, while still feeling familiar to experienced players. Appropriate for characters of any level (they receive minigame-specific stats), and no character creation is required to participate.
