Here There Be Orcs

Here There Be Orcs is designed so that a party of made up of level 4 or 5 PCs can stumble across it at any point during an existing campaign and run as a standalone story arc, or it can be run as a one-shot adventure. 

The structure of the adventure is relatively open, beginning with the player characters finding a destroyed caravan and a path leading into the woods that will lead them to the attacking orcs and their camp. With clues from the camp, they will eventually come across a razed farmstead that appears to have been preparation for a ritual of some sort. With deeper digging, the players will find an eldritch ritual being performed to reanimate a long-dead warlord to take back over his former territory. 

Here There Be Orcs contains a new boss mosnter stat block, a table of random events to befall the party, and two powerful new magic items.
