The Damquil - A Custom Spelljammer Race

The Damquil have existed for millennia, but only ever appear as footnotes in history books. Like most species they began as primitive hunter gatherers, but their inquisitive minds, lead to greater things. They rapidly made advancements in farming, medicine and science.

As they made these advancements long before other races, they became paranoid. Always worried that the more ‘barbaric’ races would steal their inventions or capture and enslave the Damquil.

They retreated from the world, existing in cells known as Queendoms. Tirelessly working away on the advancement of their species. Many have forgotten the Damquil, ignorant to the fact that many of the items they use on a daily basis were first pioneered by this curious species.
