Tyranny of Dragons: Ch.4 On the Road Map Pack

This map pack for TTRPGs is specifically designed for encounters within the Tyranny of Dragons adventure module. These 6 maps cover the fourth chapter: On the Road. These maps include Bane of the Mountains, The Golden Stag Ruin, No Room at the Inn, Roadside Hospitality Camp, Spider Woods Lair, and Stranded. These maps come with and without a grid.

The Bane of the Mountains map is just your basic three wagon party traveling on a road map. This can be used for any encounter in this chapter that involves the party being attacked while on the road.

The Golden Stag Ruin features an overgrown ruin deep in a dark forest. What could have stood here so long ago and why did the Golden Stag run here?

The No Room at the Inn map is an inn during the night time. There is a private room off to the right that parties can rent out if it wasn’t for this group of a**holes renting out the whole inn. Will your players decide to attack them? Or perhaps just ignore them and try to get the best sleep they can while in the cold rain.

The Roadside Hospitality Camp can be used for any encounter that happens at night while the group is resting. It has several tents with the wagons/carts surrounding the campsite for extra protection.

The Spider Woods Lair is located deep within the forest and the interior is covered in cobwebs. Will the players charge in killing everything that skitters? Or will they make a plan of attack and launch and ambush when the enemies are least expecting it?

The Stranded map is located on a road within a forested area. The cart is turned to the side to cover most of the road and barrels are wedged underneath and around for more protection. Will the players use this as a base of attack, or defense?
