Any chance of a Roll20 version of this one?

We've talked about making a compendium for this. There is not currently one in development, but it could happen sometime in Q1 of 2024.

For those interested in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount spells that we couldn't include in the book, see below:

Temporal Shunt
1 Reaction taken when a creature you can see makes an attack roll or starts to cast a spell, Duration: 1 round
You target the triggering creature, which must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target vanishes, being thrown to another point in time and causing the attack to miss or the spell to be wasted. At the start of its next turn, the target reappears where it was or in the closest unoccupied space. The target doesn’t remember you casting the spell or being affected by it.
On a close save, the target vanishes, being thrown to another point in time and causing the attack or spell to be delayed. At the start of its next turn, the target reappears where it was or in the closest unoccupied space. It can use its reaction to make the attack or cast the spell that was interrupted, choosing a new target if one is within range. If it doesn’t...See more

This is really cool, I'll definitely be finding way to give this to my players. Just a few issues that I think could use editing.

-Scatter is listed under 8th level spells

-It is not clear how the banishment part of divine word works with a close save, it it not specified whether it works as normal or has no effect.

-The wording of tether essence doesn't make it clear whether the creatures are linked if one or both of them had a close save, specifically whether they would both get healed if one gets healed.

Hi Luka,
We really appreciate the comments and the opportunity to clarify and fix the document.

1. Scatter was definitely in the wrong place, we've fixed that in the next update.

2. Banishment states: "Regardless of its current hit points, a Celestial, an Elemental, a Fey, or a Fiend that FAILS [emphasis mine] its save is forced back to its plane of origin..." A creature would need to fail its saving throw (roll below the DC) for this effect to happen. A close save (less than 5 above the DC) is not a failed save. As such, we are not proposing a change to this text.

3. We've tweaked the wording on tether essence as this could have been more clear. "If either makes a full save, the spell has no effect. If neither creature makes a full save, the creatures are magically linked for the duration...". This should clarify the three options:
a. either creature makes a full save: the spell fails.
b. both creatures make close saves: both are...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
