Now a Silver Bestseller!

A loyal band of adventurers must find the Horn of Kiri-Jolith, a powerful artifact that could help turn the tide of the War of the Lance before the forces of the Blue Dragonarmy claim it. They must delve into the ruins of Castle di Garinoc - the home of Lord Kiril Garinoc, a Knight of Solamnia who perished 300 years ago in the Cataclysm - and recover the horn before the Blue Dragonarmy arrives and claims it for their own!

Dragonlance: Quest for the Horn of Kiri-Jolith is a 5-7 hour adventure for 5th level characters.

Inside Quest for the Horn of Kiri-Jolith you'll find:

  • A multi-chapter adventure heavily-researched to fit neatly with previous canon and into the larger story of the War of the Lance.
  • Exploration through a ruined castle from before the Cataclysm.
  • Encounters with draconians, goblins, the ghostly lady that haunts the castle, and a final siege battle with the Blue Dragon, Swiftbolt!
  • Unique versions of classic enemies and magic items to use in your own campaign.
  • A foundational adventure designed to start a larger Dragonlance campaign.

To celebrate becoming a Copper Bestseller, a bonus FREE 2e Conversion Guide has been included with all purchases.

"This module is legit! Great adventure, filled with many little details that make it feel, truly, like Ansalon & Dragonlance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"A 5e Dragonlance adventure that felt like it was part of the Dragonlance setting. I am hoping to see more adventures from you. And thanks for running this at GaryCon for us. I immediately bought this after the game at the con to run for my group."

I went back and forth about writing this review. I appreciate the work that is present in the module, however, I felt there were some comments worth sharing to other Dragonlance DMs.

I really wanted this to easily slot into the Shadow of the Dragon Queen campaign. It took a lot of work for me to make that happen. At 4th level, no one has seen a dragon yet. The dragon battle is almost a TPK as written and to hand wave something like that off screen felt awkward.

The rewards were overpowered for 5th level characters in the Krynn setting. Overall I think it's possible to fit this in and make it valuable to your PCs especially if you have a worshipper of Kiri-Jolith.

Hi Heather-Ann! Thanks so much for your purchase and for your feedback! A few points of clarification to your comments. This was written as a one-shot adventure and not intended to slot into Shadow of the Dragon Queen. It takes place later in the timeline of the War of the Lance and a different part of Ansalon. It could be used as a follow-up to that campaign, though you might need to scale for character levels at that point. It could also be used as a jumping-off point for a new homebrew campaign. But, I am glad to hear you made it fit. I would be curious to know how you adapted it for a possible update with recommendations for inclusion in the published campaign.

It is indeed intended to be a tough adventure with high stakes, as they are facing the approach of an oncoming army. The final encounter with the dragon should have the weight of a "last stand" situation, hence the various possible outcomes included. If that is not your style of play then reducing HP, damage, attacks, and whether...See more

By levels 5-7 you don't mean start at level 5 and end at level 7, but appropriate for parties of level 5, 6, or 7 right?

Does this adventure include maps as separate image files with dimensions so I can import them easily into Roll20/Foundry? Thanks!

No, it does not. There is only the one location-keyed map of Castle di Garinoc.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
