Find something shiny in the Hoard!

The Hoard of Homebrews has two new classes with five subclass options between them and two new subclasses for monk and cleric for you to throw at your DM’s meat grinder.

Classes

  • Astralist class and two subclasses - Duel with a flying sword, fade through objects, project your consciousness out of your body, and share your mind with an ally. Astralists are telekinetic masters who toy with the Astral plane, using their mind to bring the strange realities of this dreamworld into their material one.

  • Heartsworn class and three subclasses - Crystalize enemies, commune with ancient souls, menace your foes with spirits, and enhance weapons with radiance, thunder, and lightning. Heartsworn are warriors empowered by collectives of souls that dwell in ancient fonts of power, able to reshape attacks and focus the will of these souls for aid.

Subclasses

  • Way of Flowing Time Monk - Send damage into the future, restart your turn after it has ended, and steal resources from your future turns. Monks of the way of flowing time use ki to bend past, present, and future to their will, changing timelines to defeat foes.

  • Connection Domain Cleric - Empower allies with guiding messages, teleport teammates to each other, and share health pools between different party members. Connection domain clerics break barriers that keep people apart, fostering cooperation and success among their allies.

The Hoard of Homebrews is a distillation of ideas from years of D&D campaigns that would be more worthwhile in the hands of players than sitting on a computer. It is meant to be shared and tinkered with and is worth whatever you think.

It is a one person show and by no means perfect. Any rule, balance, or writing issues will be addressed ASAP.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
