NEW ROLL20 COMPENDIUM PRODUCT RELEASE! DRAGONIX'S DEADLY DENIZENS!     DDD

This is the Roll20 VTT Compendium Package (fully integrated into Roll20 and accessible from any browser) of the first book of the Adamantine Best-Selling Monster Manual Expanded series!

If you're looking for the PDF/Book version, click here instead.

Monster Manual Expanded is a bestiary that supplements the Monster Manual and aims to provide Dungeon Masters more options and flexibility in designing adventures and dressing up their dungeons with a wider variety of creatures and characters that are based on the Monster Manual.  Finally, it also adds variants that provide a nostalgic and classic feel that DMs experienced with the older editions are probably familiar with.

When you purchase this, you will acquire access to the full Roll20 compendium which you can search and read from the Roll20 website as well as access within the Roll20 VTT! This means you can:

  • Easily access the creatures when creating your games on Roll20! Whenever you search your 5e compendium resources on Roll20, over 470 creatures can show in your search results for easy drag & drop onto your encounter maps.
  • Browse the compendium for the creature you want and drag it into your encounter.
  • Gain access to up to 350+ unique, beautiful token art pieces and over 470 fully-statted character sheets with click-to-roll attacks, special powers, saving throws, and more!

Check out what critics say about Monster Manual Expanded:

“A fantastic resource for DMs that want to keep players on their toes or want stronger or weaker variants of certain monsters.”
- Comicbook.com

Monster Manual Expanded does a fantastic job of lovingly recreating monsters that were sadly missing from 5e.”
- Nerdimmersion

“The variants are more than additional stats for DMs to memorize; they are reference materials that enhance the known lore of beloved creatures, giving more clues to their ecological life histories and/or societal structures.”
- Bob World Builder

“The creativity and attention to detail that went into this already make it a must-have companion to your MM.”
- D&D Character Lab

“It gives you a wealth of options at various levels which just creates more replayability. Very well done! Well worth your money!”
- Allthingslich

Is there a way to use these assets with Foundry VTT?

Hi, Wyland.

Unlikely.

If you are looking for just the tokens though, the Monster Manual Expanded series tokens are available on DrivethruRPG.
Just copy-paste this link: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?keywords=dragonix+vtt+monster+token++&x=0&y=0&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto=

Hi,
I'm probably missing something really evident...I purchased the module for Roll20, i can find the tokens between the premium resources, but I can't find the statblocks with all the macros etc. anywhere. Where should I look?

EDIT: Found it, just had to drag-and-drop from the compendium XD Sorry, I'm kind of a newby with Roll20

Hello! I would like to know who converted your product and if it is possible to contact them somehow. I would like to convert the Richten's Encyclopedias for roll20. Tia!

Hello I recently purchased this bundle and so far I like it.
On the other hand though I do have to ask if there's a release date planned for the Roll20 conversion for the other Expanded Monster Manual books (which I all have)
Looking forward to getting these products to use in my homebrew campaigns.

Hi Job. Yes, we plan on releasing the Roll20 versions of the other two MME books later this year. I can't give any exact dates or target months yet but once I have a firm idea of it I'll announce it.

This says for roll 20, but is it compatible with Foundry? What is the filetype provided?

Hi Nick. Sorry, this isn't compatible with Foundry. You will need Roll20 to use the product.

Some of the tokens are not fully programed. Take Elder Orb vs Beholder, each eye ray is programed for the beholder(MM), but the Elder Orb (MME) you have to cut and paste into chat. Otherwise it's great content. But I'm not sure it's worth the money if you have to reprogram some of these tokens. It's a bit misleading.

Hi James, Thanks for your feedback. We had initially set the data to roll all the eye rays at once to allow you to quickly read the ones you need instead of needing to hunt down each ray individually. There are a few places where we think that the experience has been improved over the original Monster Manual's conversion. If you find any other errors, please send a message to gamedaypreppers@gmail.com with the subject line "Bug Report" and we'll be sure to look into them! Thanks again!

Hey so I already own all three MME pdfs back before this VTT conversion launched, will I be able to get a discount or some kind of conversion if I already own the content? I am not exactly wanting to purchase content I already own all over again just to have it appear on Roll20. Is there a plan for users who already own the original three volumes?

If you already own the pdf of MME, there is a pdf + Roll20 bundle that gives you a 20% discount on the Roll20 version. You will no longer have to pay for the pdf because you already own it and only need to pay for the discounted Roll20 version. You need to log into your DMs Guild account that owns the PDF before doing so.

You can find the bundle link at the bottom of the product page.

As each Roll20 version of another MME is released, it will be paired with its PDF version and have a similar bundle.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
