Many D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) players can relate to how this amazing game helped them in times of need. From a much-needed distraction to a way of making friends, D&D has aided the mental health of generations. Thus, it is not surprising that D&D can be taken one step further to become an effective tool for therapy and development.

This guide is meant to assist a DM (Dungeon Master) in creating a D&D game for players with developmental delays, young players and people that find themselves socially isolated. It should be noted that this is not a replacement for therapy but can be used by therapists to achieve therapeutic goals.
