Author's Note

Hey there, folks! Cam here, with a new series for you all - Lineages of the Multiverse! This grew out of a conversation I have SO MANY TIMES when I work with players to come up with characters for different settings: "Well, what are X people like in X world?" And that is especially poignant with the worlds we find in the published Wizards settings.

We are presented with Faerun, Eberron, Ravnica, Ravenloft, Theros, Strixhaven (Arcavios), the Feywild, and the First World. Eight worlds, which will soon be growing to ten with Spelljammer and Radiant Citadel rolling through soon. So, where do we go from here?

Now, I will be the first person to admit that I know very very little about aasimar, both from a play perspective and from a lore perspective. But I know that many people love the, including my students quite shockingly when they picked their characters for D&D. So in this here book, Anna, Stasia, John, and Lake do an amazing job running with our four settings and creating some of the coolest - and sometimes downright terrifying - lineages for aasimar that you could ask for. Given their celestial nature alone, aasimar are already a little wild, but getting to see new interpretations in the hands of these capable creators was awesome. And finally, seeing them fully brought to life with Sapphy's art was just a joy as his talent blew the walls off the Discord.

This is our fifth book in the Lineages of the Multiverse series, and I hope that you folks are enjoying these as much as we are making them.

For Gods and Glory

Within this fifth book of the Lineages of the Multiverse, learn about the eight variants of aasimar across the Feywild, First World, Ravnica, Theros, Arcavios, Eberron, Faerun, and Ravenloft.

The aasimar present a unique challenge, as one has to think about how does divinity and celestial energies vary from across the worlds. From the Oneire of Theros, the dracmar of the First World, and the escrimar of Faerun - the roles played by these divine agents vary from world to world.

In this book, Anna, Stasia, John, and Lake present eight incredibly unique aasimar lineages all incredibly suited for your tables. Lemme tell ya, you do not want to meet Anna's Feywild aasimar on a dark night. Ludovico's art is just the icing on the cake to bring it all together.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
