For many years it was believed to be only any of these items and none were found because of their highly customizable nature and the absence of detectable magic emanating from them. That is, until a brand new one was found among the pilferings of an ancient ruined dungeon to the north, still in its original lacquer wood box and complete with instructions, revealing its secrets and stunning contemporary magicians and historians alike. Since its discovery, there has been a resurgence in the search for the legendary spell programming foci as rumors have spread of people discovering them among such finds as ancient trinkets, musical instruments, decorative arm, neck, and wrist wear, and even articles of clothing...
