A Corruption Spreads in the Sewers Beneath Storaad

"The pink miasma spreads, seeping into the sewer waters beneath the Village of Storaad

and latching onto poor souls trudging through the muck. In a dark corner of these

tunnels sits a sick and altered Chadwick. A third eye sits on top of his head like a dark

crown, his skin oozes with slop, and a tail sneaks out from under his ruined cape."

Chadwick and the Southern Scourge is a tale of heartache and stolen vampire fangs under a pale moon cast over the Village of Storaad.

This add-on provides you with an alternate version of Chadwick himself with a new stat block, items, abilities, motives, and more!

This new form of Chadwick has different motives. His quirks are sharper, his intentions more cruel.

The mutation has twisted Chadwick's items and abilities. The item at the center of the adventure, Lord Orion's Fangs, have been cursed and damaged,
requiring player ingenuity to fix. His greataxe has been strengthened by the moonlight filtering in through the sewer grates above.
When this version of Chadwick is in peril, he may call upon the sewer muck that has taken hold to his body and produce sludge bats,
gangly and dripping companions that multiply themselves and blind enemies. 

When To Use This Variation: As a plot twist. This variation of Chadwick was created as a twist for players who have already experienced the adventure.
In that case, Corrupted Chadwick is the perfect twist, not only changing a major NPC but altering the item at the center—the fangs!

If Chadwick dies in the sewers. Whether by the hands of the players or otherwise, Chadwick resurrects in this variant form.

As a way to add a horror element to the session. When the players meet Chadwick, he is infected by what lies in the sewers.
He slowly changes into this corrupted form.
