Monster Loot – Journeys through the Radiant Citadel

I want to loot the tlacatecolo!

When brave adventurers face the dangers of the world, they want something to show for it. This supplement provides individual loot for each monster in Journeys through the Radiant Citadel, as well as a basic crafting and harvesting system that works well with 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. 

With this supplement, these brave adventurers will be able to craft the hide, teeth, and claws of their enemies into dangerous weapons and equipment that is sure to mark them as legendary heroes of the realm. 

Examples of Loot

Soul Shaker

• 1d4 Non-Crawling Claws. Can be used as an arcane focus.
• 1d6 Strips of Soul Shaker Flesh. Can be used as an additional material component when casting the spells that deal necrotic damage. When used in this way, you can reroll any 1s and 2s rolled on the damage die and must keep the second result.
• 1d4 Vials of Soul Shaker Oil. As an action, the oil can be used to coat one slashing or piercing weapon, or up to three pieces of ammunition. A creature hit by the weapon or ammunition must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 necrotic damage on a failed save and half as much damage on a successful one. The target’s hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. Once applied, the oil retains its potency for one minute before drying.

Wynling

• 1d2 Ounces of Fey Dust. As an action, you can blow this dust into the face of a creature standing within 5 feet of you. The creature must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or become confused as with the confusion spell until the end of their next turn.
• 1 Vial of Wynling Blood. Can be used as an additional material component when casting the spells invisibility or greater invisibility. When used in this way, you can cast the spell as a bonus action instead of as an action.
