Feast of Goblyns

The Gothic Conversion

Requires the AD&D RA3 Ravenloft

Adventure Feast of Goblyns, to play

by Igor Comunale

In Feast of Goblyns, a party of adventurers is mysteriously transported from the lands they know to a dark and dangerous demiplane known as Ravenloft. Trd in this realm of terror, they must use all their skills to escape the manipulations of one of Ravenloft's most powerful lords as they attempt to seek out the accursed Crown of Soldiers. If all goes well, they just might live long enough to escape this dread land and return to their homes.

This conversion updates to the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons the AD&D Second Edition Feast of Goblyns adventure set in Ravenloft.

The adventure can be played individually or as part of the Grand Conjunction campaign of which represents the third episode after the events happened in Night of the Walking Dead and Touch of Death.

This adventure is suitable for characters from 4th to 7th level. If used as the second part of the Grand Conjunction, the characters begin the adventure at 5th level.

In this conversion you'll find:

- a full 5th edition conversion of the adventure

- tips on how to give a real gothic feel to the story

- variant events to make the adventure more challenging and scary

- 17 NEW MONSTERS converted from AD&D 2nd edition: Goblyn, Skeleton Warrior, Werefox, Wolfwere and many more!

Does this have any maps?
The original had terrible "Three-Quarters View" which didn't allow the maps to be used for VTT.

Hi! Up to now my conversions are made only to convert the contents. By now they don’t contain any maps. Perhaps in the future I’ll add this feature. Thanks!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
