Korred Clans - Fantasy Grounds

The splintered realm of Yon is plagued with the presence of Endelyn Moongrave, the hag better known to some as Bitter End. While the brigganocks of the mines battle the korreds of the mountainside, none stand a chance to strike at her alone. Even amongst the korreds’ own, discord spreads, stifling the groups and laying them scattered. Can the heroes convince the eight korred clans to reunite and commit to the fight for Yon?

Chapter 4: Yon is the third portion of Prismeer described in The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Each of the locations presented in this chapter can be explored quickly, outside of Motherhorn. This mini-adventure aims to expand on the korred population in Yon beyond the short social encounter at Lockburry Henge by providing short encounters at six of the korred clan camps. Each of these locations poses unique roleplaying, combat, skill, or puzzle challenges.

Lockbury Henge is one of the major locations in Chapter 4: Yon. The story explains that the korreds no longer hold gatherings there out of fear of Endelyn Moongrave. According to the book, in order to remain safe, the korreds have ensconced themselves in stone indefinitely. The book mentions that there are in fact eight korred clans (Shale, Chalk, Flint, Granite, Slate, Basalt, Obsidian, and Marble), but provides little detail about these clans. This adventure fleshes out each of these clans with short adventures that can be woven together as the party chooses. As always, it is up to you how much of the content you want to use. It’s perfectly fine to use some parts of this supplement while discarding others, or simply let the ideas presented here inspire new ideas of your own. This supplement assumes a party of 4–6 characters of 6th level with scaling options for higher level.

At Lockbury Henge, the party encounters Argantile of Shale and Jagu of Chalk. Both are indecisive about joining the fight against Endelyn Moongrave, but suggest that the party try to get the other clans on board in a united force. The party can choose their own path to get as many korred clans to join their cause as possible.

• Argantle of Shale and Jagu of Chalk request that the party deal with the brigganock threat in order to convince them and their clans to join (see 'Brigganock Mine' in The Wild Beyond the Witchlight).
• Budoc of Flint requests that the party help him deal with a mite infestation plaguing the Flint Clan.
• Azil of Granite invites the party to prove themselves in an athletic competition.
• Myzelda of Slate asks the party to help her solve a puzzle to acquire a family heirloom.
• Yanna of Basalt asks the party to help find and rescue missing young korreds.
• Noll of Obsidian has been charmed by Endelyn Moongrave and needs to be snapped out of the spell through a duel.
• Malo of Marble can be convinced to help the party if they help two young korreds make an artistic statement against the oppression of Endelyn Moongrave.

If the party is able to win over at least six of the eight korred clans (including Argantle of Shale), the korreds will join forces against Endelyn Moongrave.
