Rune Casting Expanded

Long ago during The Thousand-Year War, giants fought back against the dragons using powerful runes that could allowed them to mark their foes, revive the dead, fly, and use their own blood as weapons. Most of these ancient runes were lost after the fall of Ostaria, only the Five Great Runes of each of the Giant clans remain with a handful of others. Those are the ones learned by most rune knights. 

But you're not a typical rune knight, if you even are a knight. Whether you're an adventurous fighter ready to augment their own abilities, a clever wizard seeking to recreate the ancient proto-magic to power your spellcraft, or a rogue just looking for another edge in this game; these runes are for you. You have gone beyond what Tasha can present to discover the rest of the giant runes. 

This supplement provides 12 new giant runes based on those presented in "Storm King's Thunder"  to add to the RuneKnight list in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. It also reimagines most of the base class abilities such as "giant's Might" as runes themselves and lets you forgo them to instead take other runes making it incredibly customizable. 

It also adds a feat so that any class may make use of these new runes presented. 

Finally, the last page lays out ideas for new quest lines and optional rules for your characters seeking out these runes to add to their current list of known runes presented in Tasha's.
