Toy Escape Title

"The Great Toy Escape" is a four-adventure for 1st through 4th-level characters part of the Dungeoncraft Spotlight Program using new mechanics found in the "Domains of Delight: A Feywild Accessory" supplement.

The adventure takes place in the Feywild Domain of Delight, the Joy Shop, or Aoibhneis, a realm that occupies a toymaker's workshop and a small area surrounding it. The shop is a wonder for powerful fey seeking the best toys—made from transformed former pact breakers. As the characters explore the shop, they will meet the domain's many denizens and prisoners.

An escaped toy named Taranath Brykas seeks help from the characters to rescue another trapped toy from the Archfey of the Joy Shop, the Joysmith. Upon arrival, the world is magnified and larger than life and the characters. Time is of the essence, a prospective archfey customer is set to arrive soon, but also the Joy Shop's curse also gradually transforms any trespassers into future toy products. This heist adventure brings highlights from films such as Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Toy Story 3, Jack and the Beanstalk, Dolls, and Babes in Toyland

If you're looking for an adventure filled with suspense and danger built around the wonders and terrors of a toy shop, with some potential combat and chase moments, then this adventure is for you!

This adventure also includes a Honey Cake recipe inspired by Taiwanese Castella Cake, artwork to inspire your table, a general map of the Joy Shop interior, and a printer-friendly PDF version. Enjoy the sweet treats in a not-so-sweet domain.

Continue your journey through the Feywild by experiencing all the adventures from the Dungeoncraft Spotlight program! Experience the chaos and wonder of the new enchanting Domains of Delight for Tier 1 adventurers. These adventures highlight unique stories which can be played in any order.

For more information on Domains of Delight, check out the official Domains of Delight (5e) supplement!

"Domains of Delight are to the Feywild what Domains of Dread are to the Shadowfell: sequestered realms governed by powerful beings. Whereas a Domain of Dread is ruled by a Darklord, a Domain of Delight is ruled by an archfey—the most powerful of Fey creatures. An archfey gives form to their Domain of Delight, shaping it in ways unique to their personality. Some Domains of Delight are bright and cheery, while others are gloomy, but each one reflects the emotional state of its ruler. A Domain of Delight can be as small as a few acres or as big as a country."

just reading the text in this description...is "a four-adventure" supposed to say "a four-hour adventure"?

Hello, in the AL adventure WBW-DC-FDC-08 The Great Toy Escape, there is a curse you can pick up, that can only be permanently cured by Spending 100 GP on a doll made to look like you and then you give the Doll your name. After which it has that name and you become nameless. This happened to me and I spent the gold, and for now my character sheet and AL tracking sheet just say Nameless. Is the intent of this that I cannot take a name until something happens in a future WBW module or do I just need to make up a new name ? Does anyone know ? Since this is an Adventurer's League character I can't really work a story out with the DM since my DMs change all the time. So I kind of need some actual guidance on how this is intended to work ?

PURCHASER
Hello, Dirk,
The adventure has a straightforward answer to your question:
...As a result, the character ends up nameless and _must acquire a new one_
So you have to choose a new name.
Also remember that new AL guide allows characters to end any negative effects at the end of the adventure.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
