Does this adventure follow DDAL10-10? The module from season 10 seems to suggest so. But reading through adventure descriptions it feels more like I should run DRW-14 for the party next instead?

This adventure is the beginning of the 3rd DRW arc (so I suppose occurs after season 10, though is not tightly tied). DRW-10 comes after it.

Does this adventure involve Xorvintroth at all?

Tangentially. It is part of the return to Xorvintroth story that the DRW storyline picked up following s10. In the adventure, you don't go there, but the NPCs you are hunting are going there.

The summary states that its for 5th through 10th level adventurers. How is the level scaling handled?

As most modules of that Tier it is optimised for an average party level of 8 (that's what "APL 8" means in the description) of five players. Each encounter has suggestions as to how to adapt it to make it easier (or harder) depending on whether the party has more/less than five players and whether their APL is above or below 8. Usually it is suggesting adding/removing some of the creatures or suggesting which creatures to use instead of the ones in the "standard" encounter. Where applicable Adventurer's League modules also suggest raising/lowering the DC of certain tests depending on APL. So expect boxes with tips. This usually works quite well I found. This is based on my experience with DDAL modules so far. Not this one particularly.

What happened to all the premade VTT maps for these adventures? Why were they removed and if so where can I get them now? Thanks

There's usually not any digital map on this series, but someone made assets here: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/377352/DDALDRW09-Vile-Bounty-Map-Assets

Question for Master Tier AL. Can you play this adventure and then do an adventure from Candlekeep?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
