NEW YEAR'S Update

We just released the biggest Jarlaxle's Bag of Everything update to date. The New Year's Update brings welcome balance to an already fan-favorite book. Player options are scaled perfectly with those listed in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and adds new features. It also streamlines several rules, clarifies optional features, and ties into other Underdark books.

So I just got my hands on Jarlaxle's book ... and *WOW* is this an amazing book. It takes a lot to blow me away. But I'm seriously impressed with both the high-quality crunch & fluff (and I use those terms as compliments, not pejoratives). Give me a few days to do a high-level drilldown into the book's details - and our group's next 2 play sessions (within the week) where I'm gonna use the book's game mechanics - and then I'll write a more formal review.

Wow, wow, WOW. Such an immersive underdark-themed book.

Good book to have though I do have to ask. Does it have "one" playtest stuff in mind? Cause from I noticed there's at lease one instance where the ranger gets cantrips(spectral dagger)

I'm interested in this book and I am glad you are giving such great support to our beloved Church of Eilistraee. But, I was confused when I read your playtest material for the Udadrow, lorendrow, and Avendrow when you mention that the Avendrow are redeemed drow mentioned during the lady penitent series, I got even more confused when it mentioned that the Avendrow worshipped Eilistraee. I read the starlight conclave, I never once see Eilistraee being mention or hinted at being worshipped there.

This books looks great but will there be an updated version? Looking at the preview, the table of contents does not match up with the page numbers. ex. Using this book is listed as page 4 but that is the table of contents. Using this book is actually page 5. That alone causes most of the remaining pages to be a cascading failure. And (this is a personal choice of course) the page numbering is opposite typical publications. Odd page numbers are on the right of the page, even on the left. Your book has odd on the left and even on the right.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
