Freak Show Collection

We've complied the following best-selling adventures into a single book!

The Madhouse of Tasha's Kiss - Adamantine Best-Seller

Happy Jack's Funhouse - Mithral Best-Seller

Annalyse's Revenge - Gold Best-Seller

7 new monsters, including Red Tiles and the Winnower of Souls!

A fantastic adventure to place in your Domain of Dread, Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or home campaign!

Madness tracker handouts, memory enchange mechanics, encounter variants to suit any playstyle, and more!

Physical Books

When Remly Farr and I wrote these adventures, we loosely tied them together, offering options and hints at how a Dungeon Masters can run them as a short campaign. Each adventure is independant and does not require the other adventures to be played.

Freak Show Collection is available in PDF, softcover, hardcover, or as a combination of PDF and Print.

If you purchase the combination of PDF and Hardcover or Softcover, you'll receive the PDF of the complete book, as well as individual adventure PDFs and map files.

CONTENT WARNING: These adventures feature body horror, imagery, and situations that not all DMs and players may appreciate.

If you are only interested in the single adventure PDFs and not the compiled book, the Freak Show PDF Bundle may be your better option.

Ok this is a long shot. I have the FG and pdf of the full collection. Didn't think I would want the book also. Is there anyway to get a discount for the book?

Unfortunately, I can't post a discount code in this comments section.

If one were to run these straight through... What level should player's start at... and what level will they be at the conclusion?

If you ran them as Tasha's, Happy Jack's, and Annalyse, you could start them at level 3, 4, or 5 and then level them up at the end of each adventure. Annalyse should have scaling suggestions up to level 8 characters. We leave the leveling up to you. If you want to use each adventure as a milestone leveling event, that's perfectly okay.

if I wanted to run these three as a series which would you recommend running first, second and third?

They were written as Tasha’s, Jack’s, Annalyse’s. That’s a good order to run them, but you could swap the order to Jack’s, Tasha’s, Annalyse’s.

I just finished Tasha's kiss tonight. My group had a blast. It was really good.
My only modifications would have been less manimals in the kitchen but more powerful/with more capacities.
It was my 2nd time as a DM and I really had a blast too.
Thank you very much for your work.

Does this have the stat blocks and subclasses from all of the adventures?
Customer avatar
Jeff S November 04, 2021 11:48 am UTC
The stat blocks, yes. As for the Happy Jack's Subclasses, I didn't include those in the compiled PDF or book.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
