"The art in this book is amazing, and in some instances, terrifying! Like some of it is legitimately scary! I'm very excited about it...there's just so much awesome content! It's gonna rise right to the top of the best-sellers list!"
- Nerd Immersion.

"Easily one of the best products I have ever looked at... Monster Manual Expanded III proves the series is still a must-buy for Dungeon Masters, with a huge variety of awesome new monsters, empowered by some of the best creature artwork you will find on the DMs Guild."
- Rogue Watson.

"(Monster Manual Expanded III) is really in a different ballpark. This time around, the creators outdid themselves. I love it... I cannot wait for the printed copy!"
- Mr. Tarrasque.

"Monster Manual Expanded 3 and its prequels are absolute MUST HAVES for all DMs toolkits. The artwork and layout are out of this world. The monster mechanics and lore are more varied than Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors. And to top it off...there are SO MANY to choose from. This is certainly a 10/10 product! Get it! Get it now!"
- Crit Academy

"I'm gonna try and remain as objective as possible but I'm going to reveal my hand to you right now... this product is incredible!
This one really stands out, notably because of the quality of the artwork... it's so inspiring for me as a Dungeon Master to want to grab these things and bring them to the table."
- All Things Lich.

Unleash over 300 terrifying new monsters!

Monster Manual Expanded III continues what the two previous Adamantine Best-Selling bestiaries have started, providing dungeon masters with additional creature options to help fill their adventures. There are 320 statblocks (using the new Monsters of the Multiverse statblock style) spread across this 280+ page tome, most of which are archetypes and variants found in the Monster Manual, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, and other official 5E adventurer books. There will be more new monsters this third time around, though, most of which come from earlier D&D editions. A large number of them will have legendary actions, giving the dungeon master more boss options. The biggest change, however, are the gorgeous, professionally commissioned art pieces that will inspire DMs and terrify players!

MY NEW BESTIARY RELEASE! DRAGONIX'S DEADLY DENIZENS!

Why is the Deaths head tree not in the pdf despite it specifically being mentioned as being added in the promotions???? It’s not a glitch since it isn’t in the table of contents either despite being referenced in the Malingo flavor text.

Hi, Alexander. Yes, the death's head tree should have been originally part of MME III. However, a few months before its release, a preview of Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft came out and they showcased the new version death's head tree. Their version didn't focus on the tree, but on just the death's head itself. The design made my version of death's head tree obsolete, as it appears any awakened tree can become a death's head tree. So I decided I'll just think of something else to do with the artwork, and only recently did I use it for Dragonix's Deadly Denizens II.

Is there any way I can get the stateblock for it? The one in Van Richtens isn’t very accurate to the 2e version so I was hoping to use yours instead because it looked far more faithful.

I would have to look for it. It's been 4 years so I am not sure exactly where to look. I've had countless versions. Please subscribe to my substack or my Patreon and perhaps in a few weeks after I've launched my Kickstarter campaign I'll make one but I can't promise.

Yes, Cam. The Roll20 VTT version is an entirely different product that required a lot of resources and money to build.

There is no way to convert a PDF into a Roll20 VTT easily. It has to be built from scratch and takes months to complete.

I do not know how to do that and thus had to hire a specialist who knows not just how to create a VTT, but also in a Compendium (integrated into Roll20's official website) format. This cost me a bundle of money.

Hi, Damiano. MME III was already aligned with the new standard when it was released so no need to wait. Its success made the 2nd editions of the previous two books possible.

The only difference the file update has with the PoD are the promotions of new products at the end of the pdf.

C'mon DMs' Guild, let's get a bundle option for ordering all 3 hardcovers! Some of us still enjoy looking at something that isn't a screen.

The roll20 versions will start with MME 1. This will be released when Roll20 is launched in DMs Guild. MME3 will follow after. MME2 will be delayed until the 2nd edition is completed.

Small update: I've uploaded the correct classic spellcasting pdf format (Monster Manual Expanded_III_v1.00.51 classic spellcasting). Please use this instead of the 1.05 version (which didn't have all the old spellcasting lists).

Due to the absolutely horrible costs of hardcovers, is there a way to start seeing about doing softcovers? Because there isn't any fathomable world where I will pay $90 for a single 3rd party book. No insults to you guys; it's great stuff, but not "pay double what official content costs" great.

The softcover version difference would have only been under $5. It is because of the premium page format and the number of pages (294) the reason why it is this expensive. We've tried the standard format which could have saved $22 but the image output was well below the standards we want (images ended up too dark and muddy). The premium format pages, due to its semi-gloss texture, retained the vividness of the images.

Ahhhh I see. Well I appreciate the response, and if/when supply issues are less prevalent and the cost goes down I may pick this up. At the very least I may pick up a pdf and hopefully get a solid deal on hardcover in the future if the prices go to a level of normal.

Thank you for your thoughtful response; this type of transparency is so valuable and that sells myself (and maybe others) far better than content of a book.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
