The Ruins of Ghor Tonash

Suggested Price $0.50

Ghor Tonash (Shadow Rock in common) is a 5 level dungeon, though level 5 is older than levels 1-4. It is riddled with constructs, duplicates and Skulks. This is not an adventure!

Ghor Tonash was built by Ghoranians and hidden, later discovered by Kenku followers of the Raven Queen. They created a temple around compound and protected it, but got infiltrated by a hostile force. During a battle all Kenkus but one sacrificed their lives, causing the dungeon to be flooded with monsters mentioned above. The one Kenku that survived collapsed the ruins and slowly became a Nothic. The devastation and time causes the fifth level to slowly radiate magic energy through cracks in the structure.

Basic facts:

  1. You can use additional mechanics that are below the ‘General Idea and Premise’ subchapter.
  2. Inside the pack there are 8 maps of the dungeon that I peppered in Arkenforge. All of them are in two versions – player and DM version. The DM version is with additional visual info.
  3. All maps are roughly 200 -300 ft. wide and long, so there’s plenty of rooms and places to explore.
  4. The Dungeon is perfect for a group of 6 players on level 4, though it varies.
  5. The idea behind the dungeon is as follows:

The Ghor Tonash  dig site has been uncovered by archeologists. Up until some point they were hindered only by some carrion crawlers that nest in one part of the dungeon. Once they discovered a mysterious glass dome they got also attacked by monsters and constructs that still want to protect the 5th level of Ghor Tonash from invaders.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
