The Metahel Pantheon of Anchorome

In the TSR product, City of Gold, it introduced a culture of essentially stranded vikings in a desert like area off the western coast of Anchorome, who have adapted to living in Pueblos.  This product asks the question, "where did they come from? Are they related to the Northmen of Ruathym?"  It also asks, "Who were their gods?  Are they actually the same gods as Faerun?  Or are they different?"

This product introduces a pantheon of gods that mimics both the Faerunian and Norse pantheons at the same time.  It also presents a question of "What if Ragnarok and its fated destinies was actually a trick by the gods against their enemies?".  It also puts some spin on classic norse gods in a way that most people don't view them, such as what if Sif isn't exactly necessarily the way we think of her?  It also pays some small homage to storylines in popular culture that have occurred over the past 30 years.

I hope you don't mind me posting this, but I think I found an error in your work. Thoros is referred to as a he, but in the Anchorome sourcebook the section on the Metahel pantheon describes Thoros as a goddess.

I hadn't noticed that. That would be an error in the Anchorome sourcebook . I created the pantheon idea and talked to Seethyr about putting it in his anchorome stuff. Guess he typo'd and I'll have to let him know. He's supposed to make you wonder if he's Thor... if he's Talos... or even if he's actually a deity from some other pantheon like Ramman. Just like Sifya is suppose to make you wonder if she's Sif or the Red Knight. It is kind of funny though since some of my inspiration for other members of the metahel comes a bit from Marvel's norse pantheon mixed with the faerunian pantheon (and Marvel did the whole female Thor thing).

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
