Hi I love your maps but I have 1 issue. The Moathouse dungeon map appears to have been chopped along the left hand side as a major part of the tunnels do not connect.
Otherwise, you did a great job.

Hi Terry,
Thanks for trying our conversion guide and maps. The moathouse looks ok on my end, so I have removed it from the zip file of maps, added it back, and uploaded it again. If you download the zip file of maps, hopefully, you are in good shape.

I am also curious if the defect was present on both the grid and no-grid options.

Thanks again for posting.

Stay safe and happy gaming.

Can I be honest? I hope so... I bought this and have Foundry VTT, but I can not figure out what I am supposed to do with the folder TOEE_vtt_files_asIs_Untested. I am thinking I am supposed to put it into Foundry's directory somewhere, but I can't figure out where.

Also, if I do this, will it import the text for the maps? Because that is what is currently taking me so long to do, is get the text of the different areas in.

Hi Heather, Thanks for purchasing this conversion guide and the maps. I was asked to put the VTT files out there by a purchaser who noticed most of the maps had been done in DungeonDraft. DungeonDraft allows for the export of VTT files. Unfortunately, I have not used Foundry VTT and cannot offer much advice about how they might be used there. I do know there is no text embedded in the map files, so the text won't show up when using the JPGs or VTT files. My understanding is the VTT files can be used to quickly generate lines of site information for walls, etc... The VTT files are not listed in the description of the product but are included as an untested resource for those that wish to experiment with them. My apologies if they are causing any difficulty for you.
Thank you again and happy gaming.

These maps look like they were made in Dungeoncraft if do would it be possible to have .ddvt files so that they can be used on VTT with line of sight pre added?

Hi Michael,
Some but not all maps were done in Dungeondraft. Others were developed in Dungeondraft and touched up in other programs. I may be able to export VTT files for some maps, but I do not have the ability to test all of them, so I will need to think about how I might put them out there. I can do so with an 'as is' type cautionary note, but I am hesitant to put something out I may not be able to fully support. I will look into this for you.
Thanks for the note and happy gaming good sir.

Hi Michael,
I have uploaded VTT files for everything I can. I've placed a note in the VTT zip file letting folks know the files are tested and experimental only. Let me know how they work for you. If they are not decent, I will remove the file. Development of maps for this conversion was challenging, it frequently pushed DungeonDraft to its limits, causing the mapping software to crash occasionally. There were a lot of 'tricks' I used during map development to get everything finished. The JPGs look just fine, but I am not sure what if any impact this may have on VTT files.
Feel free to reach out to me here or on my blog: https://enoa4rpg.blogspot.com/ You may also be able to find me in various Facebook groups related to D&D.
Thanks for your interest in TOEE and happy gaming.
Take care,
Ernie

in my opinion they do add value from the three or 4 dungeon maps i have just checked. I used a macro to import them into Fantasy grounds and part from a weird artifact on one of the moat house maps. I imagine they will also work fine with Foundry and Roll20

Thanks for letting me know Michael. I appreciate it. As I recall, I added the arrow slits to the moathouse in paint.net after the map was generated. I am not sure if this is generating the issue or not. I do not have or use Fantasy Grounds or Foundry and appreciate the feedback.

Stay safe and happy gaming good sir.

Hi Abraham,
This is a 5e conversion of T1-4 only. It does not include an errata for the original. Digital maps are also included with the conversion guide.
Thank you and happy gaming!

Hi, the maps are nice but there's several errors in some statblocks in the conversion guide (for example: Spugnoy's CR, St Cuthbert Magic resistance text, etc....), mainly typos from the statblock used to build from I think. Otherwise nice I think I'm going to run this one.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
