Q’barra Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

NOW UPDATED TO v2 FOR MONSTERS OF THE MULTIVERSE

Welcome to Q’barra – an isolated jungle nation on the eastern edge of Khorvaire. While the soft skinned westerners are aware of New Galifar and Hope, many find the cultures and customs of the scales completely alien.

Scales of Q’barra collects and expands upon the lore of the dragonborn, lizardfolk, kobolds, and others. Game masters will find a collection of innovative and thematic stat blocks. Included are eleven named NPCs ready to drop into a combat or negotiation, plus nineteen generic stat blocks for allies and servants. Game masters will furthermore find four legendary artifacts belonging to the dragonborn clans, plus an innovative doom sign system that makes the demon lord Masvirik's influence felt anywhere in the region, allowing his reach to grow as the campaign progresses. Players will find not only important background lore to ground their character in the world of Eberron, but three updated and renovated races to address common complaints about their mechanical representation.

Scales of Q’barra has taken a fresh new look at these groups to avoid problematic tropes and implications. This supplement was written to subvert the colonialization that underpins much of D&D by providing fully fleshed out and nuanced cultures with mechanical support for characters from those cultures.

Hello Joseph & Stuart!
Big fan of the work. Wished to ask what the dimensions of the map of Q'barra is? As well as what the size of each hex is in pixels?
From my estimation it seems to be 2480x3210 but when I try to place it on my Roll20 page it doesn't line up with the vertical hexes in R20 (vertical hex is 70pixels per unit).

picked this up recently and am digging it so far. wondered if you have a more printer friendly version of the map? the colors are coming out really dark on this and it's making the text unreadable.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
