Easter Eggs from the Feywild

Random Tables and Statblocks as a DM-Tool for your Easter Adventure

-------------

Easter Eggs from the Feywild consists of a short story about the Easter bunny and two random tables for the appearance and effects of the eggs he hides.

When you create an adventure from the content, I recommend 4-6 player characters with level 3-5. They fit into every setting and can be used with new or existing play groups. You can easily add the content to your running campaign or play it as a one-shot.

Within the publication you will find:

++ 7 pages of fully colored content

++ 1 monster stat block Easter Bunny
++ 1 monster stat block Cuckoo
++ 5 random tables

Here you can find a beautiful map of this little eastersetting in the feywild by Alexander Gruber

Do you have feedback and suggestions for individual scenes or chapters?

Can you think of other exciting items or NPCs that would enrich the document?

Then feel free to send me your ideas at chris@derspielpaedagoge.de and I will expand the document after checking the submissions at regular intervals and mention the best ideas in the credits if appropriate.

There is one chunk of text on Page 4 where the German text is still present- Google Translate says it pretty much says the same thing as what's in English right after, so nothing's really missing. There's also a little error in the entry for the Egg of Thought- it says "After eating this marzipan egg, you can use the effect of the spell textitDetect Thoughts"- I assume the "textit" is probably some kind of typo or editing remark. This is a cute little resource, though, and while I don't play the current edition of DnD, it's adaptable to what I do play! Thanks for this!

The header at the top of the list of eggs is odd, too, it says "Ei-Type" which I assume is supposed to be "Egg Type". Also, Adobe Acrobat Reader cannot seem to print the document- I get a "The document cannot be printed" error. I am going to try to redownload it to see if there's just something odd about my download. No, downloading it again does not seem to make a difference. It hangs on page 4 or so while it is "flattening" it. I was able to print it via my web browser, though.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
