Purchased by my FLGS for me to run. Really liked the inclusion of the story awards in this mid-season finale! My players also really are enjoying the Old Goat/Kaskur storyline.

I ran this adventure within AL and it turned out pretty fun, even though I have to admit I really disliked it at first.

What I liked:
- The combat with Frostclaw was pretty fun, especially as the chardalyn spideroids or whatever can misty step and break through frontliner PC, which makes the party change tactics.
- Clod quickly became a favourite, it doesn't make much sense for him to be around I'd say but it was a fun encounter. The party was surprisingly eager to gulp the weird goo and the effects were cool too. I am maybe not sure about leaving single outright detrimental effect (roll of 1), while others are helpful or at least somewhat balanced (especially as it can basically switch off casters before the final boss).
- I think the combat with Feral-Tongue was fine but we had little time left and I didn't really go all out with tactics. As usual with official casters, he goes down pretty quickly (his trait to turn into a polar bear does NOT give him additional HP like wildshape,...See more

Hello, I just wanted to check with the author, is there anyway for the content catalogue or DMs guide for season 10 to be updated with the effects of Story Awards as new modules have come out? I just finished this session but want to be able to foreshadow what the Chardalyn corruption actually does to the PCs that have it while they continue playing in the Hardcover for the campaign.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but for the section in the Netherese Outpost there is no direction regarding which map to use? I'm hoping to get this all put onto a VTT and wasn't sure if I should just create one of my own...I want to keep everything AL official!

Hi, Paul! Appendix A is for "Little Victories" and Appendix B is for "Mouth of Madness." There's no official map for what the players find between, but there are some amazing community-created maps that have been posted to the AL Discord.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
