Across the multiverse there stand a collection of interstellar scientists called the Om, and one in particular called Graymalkin. It realized that there was too much suffering and hardship across the multiverse, and that a hero was needed. Taking samples from the Om database, Graymalkin created a symbiotic being called the Omnix, holding within it the genetic code of thirty eight beasts and creatures from across the planes. And so, with a great heave, it hurled numerous copies of the Omnix throughout the stars, hoping to aid in some small way.

I know I begin many entries in our library with these words, but it seems that the more and more warforged subraces we find, the less we truly know of ourselves.
