Instantly picked this up because I love planar lore in DnD, and the book is great! One question: would it be possible to include maps as separate files for convenience?

I would love maps as seperate files too, such lovely maps need to be seen in full resolution.

They are by Cze and Peku - you can get them from their patreon or you can find their stuff on Roll20.

Patreon is not the most convenient place to search. I also assume some of these maps are behind the paywall, and since I already paid for them as part of this book, it's weird to pay a second time.

I hoped that author will see my message and add them to the product files.

Hi Eugene. So this is to do with the license I have to use the maps - (whenever you use an image in a product, you have to buy a license from the artist). Licenses are all different, and are set by the creator. The CzePeku license stipulates I am not allowed to provide the maps separately outside of the book, or I would definitely have done so. I'm sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for the information, Oliver! I didn't know about these types of licenses.
I suppose I will go to Patreon then :)

I've always wanted a manual of planes to be released. This is said manual, but it adds chaotic gayness to it, being e x a c t l y what I needed. I finally have a base for my plane hoping campaign! Probs for making the staircase accessible! :)

Just a note for the author, some spelling and formatting errors:

Page 5: "Entrances exist all throughout the many world of the D&D multiverse" should be "many worlds" I think?

Page 6: "To continue along the stairway from a landing, travelers must quickly find the doorway that will take them back onto the stairwell the stairwell, lest the door vanishes and they become stuck on a plane they had no desire to visit." The stairwell is repeated.

There were a few other spelling errors but I didn't note them all down unfortunately.

The same descriptive text box is used on both pages 7 & 9, don't know if that was intentional?

The table on page 83, the text for both Mertion and Jovar say "A creature may only climb to Venya" instead of the correct level

Page 87 "A pirate called Claude is carrying a box, which is under strict instructions not to open. " should be "which HE is under...See more

Hi, thank you for making the effort, but posting lists of typos here isn't as useful to me as dropping it into my twitter DMs or email! It deters sales, and I may not even see it. If you want to more reliably reach me with stuff like this you can email me at oclegg@yahoo.co.uk or DM me via @deathbybadger. If this sells well, I'll go for another editing pass at some point in the future (always hard to see your own errors...). Thanks for the heads up either way, it must have taken time and I do appreciate it.

Apologies! I had planned on deleting it if you responded anyway since I know you've seen it! I do plan on leaving an actual review once the review grace period is up as well as I really enjoyed it!

Edit- Ah, I did not realise that you apparently can't delete these comments after the first 10 minutes, so that is my bad!

This is WONDERFUL and would make for a really fun conclusion to a lot of the adventures that just kind of... tail off, after the mid-levels. Unresolved character arcs? This solves that problem with style.

My only critique would be that I would love to get my mitts on character tokens for the NPCs included here (mortimer, the wayfarer, portal guardians etc) & full body JPGS of their individual artwork for handouts, though I wouldn't be surprised if you already have that in the bag for later milestones...?

Either way, fantastic job, as usual.

Hey :) Glad you're enjoying it! I'll think about tokens - not all of the illustrations I've licensed can be used in that way, but I'll see what I can do when I revisit this for an update.

I'm running a planar romp as an offshoot of Call from the Deep (JVC Parry) for my next campaign and this is *exactly what I needed.* The tables are brilliant and will really help me bring this to life. Thank you!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
