Hey dude, it's Burnout again. Just read through it after getting it the other day and weighing it against other homebrew monk subclasses, this is your best work yet. Simple, effective, not over powered, and a great utility for a possibly caster lite party. I had a few balance issue with the Oath of Joy, but this was a well thought out and well balanced publication man. Thanks for putting in the work, I'd run it in my setting.

This is really cool, I have a party of mainly spellcasters and throwing something like this at them instead on another villain spellcaster will be a nice change of pace. Fantastic job on this one.

I've got an Entity in my world that this subclass suits for one of their Servants. I like what I see and am excited to use it! Keep up the good work Connor!!

So is Ki sealing just something you do for free? Just cut through any magical defenses without spending Ki? Just double checking. Love Mage slayer themed classes so i jumped at this. Just wanted to question the the one thing that sticks out to me.

Yup! I figure it's not something you see every day, so it just happens.

It is a very cool ability, but to be able to do that without ki points seems a little overpowered. To be able to essentially cripple a mage for free can really make encounters pointless. Getting rid of their Mage armor and Shield ac makes them too easy to hit and getting rid of their spells instantly makes them useless and neither ability has a recharge, you just do it. So I honestly believe that they need to have some ki cost just to make sure the monk doesn't instantly end the mage big bad after a long story build up. Otherwise everything is really cool and I can't wait to try the class out.

Upon further review, I think you're right. I've updated the PDF to include a Ki point and action economy cost for this ability.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
