Unfortunately my RockGnome was not of one of the 13 base classes, but an Engineer from the Quaint & Curious Aethereal Gaslight. It it has inspired a canon for my solo adventurer.
If he accepts Glittergold’s request to get a gnome who worships each of the other 12 deities based off the list of gods in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, then the Glitter Gnomes may be saved and the lost fraction able to finally return to the realms to form a warren of their own.
And the toughest one will be last, a Follower of Urdlen. The selfish reluctant reclusive hermit who will have to either be convinced, or tricked into participating in the quest.

Played through as a Human Paladin, with a nod to the Templars of Dragon Age in my skillet, and I had a great time!

*SPOILER ALERT*
I picked up the diamond and didn't know what to do with it, until I faced off against the three Kobold Dragonshields with my stuff. I promptly cast Stone Shape from the gem and shaped myself a greatsword. I got the necklace off of Kurtulmak by setting Zariel's head on fire with an expertly chucked Firestarter gnome tinker toy to distract him, then switcherood the pendant of the necklace with my own Stone Shaped likeness, then waited it out.

Looking forward to more from Garl Glittergold :)

It was an interesting concept, but I didn't enjoy the adventure. I wouldn't recommend it.

Played as a 5th level Rock Gnome Rogue. I had a lot of fun! [Spoilers ahead]

I followed the mine shaft down the cliff and ended up getting captured. I failed my check to climb up the rope and took quite a hefty bit of damage, but survived. I helped trap Kurtulmak and Tiamat but when I tried to run out the door the first time I was bested by the three Kobold Dragonshields. Thankfully my snoozestone brought me back and I was able to get a couple good stabs on the restrained Kurtulmak before waking up again. Snoozestone'd again and snuck up behind Kurtulmak to help fulfill the prophecy!

I misunderstood the solo portion in the description, thinking this was for a DM and one player. That fault I suppose is my own, so please be aware when looking at this purchase.

I like the idea of a solo choose-your-own-adventure one-shot, very fun concept! I did notice a few errors to correct and a couple other things that I thought might be improved upon.

On pg. 49 there is a text block that refers you to "Page ##" instead of the actual page number. I was able to figure it out but you might want to fix that. Also on Page 55, the QUESTion does not have a "no" choice, only a "yes" choice. It's easy enough to figure out what to do if you don't want to choose the "yes" option, but it does seem like the "no" choice is conspicuously missing. Maybe you gain inspiration for choosing "no" and going along with the plan? One more thing I would recommend is listing choices for each QUESTion, example "Option 1/3, 2/3, 3/3" etc. There were a few times I thought I had read all of the choices I could make, went ahead with whichever option, and then went to the next page only to discover there was yet another option...See more

The printer friendly pdf version is now available. Save that black ink for Shar, goddess of darkness!

Practical question, is it possible to include a printer-friendly version without the black borders? I'd rather not be solely dependent on the computer because of reasons.

Some additional feedback:
- With most of the choices I wasn't presented a go to page X. This was confusing because I evaded the cage succesfully and still thought I reached an ending, for example.
- I was referred to a statblock for Ilsensine, but it wasn't included nor could I find it online (wasn't in the MM either). In the Appendix it states that the statblock can be found in Volo's guide to monsters, but I can't find it there either (Ilsensine is mentioned once but that page has no statblock). It may be helpful to specifiy exactly which page the monster can be found, or which monster's statblock would apply.
- After choices, in the first few chapters the succes/failure were in the same text block, which is confusing. Later they were seperate, which is a bit better. Would it help to add the choices/results in a table?

All in all my first run through was a bit frustrating

Hi Kees!
Thank you again for your feedback. Ilsensine is an Ancient Green Dragon, our apologies if that was missed.
Your note on the clarity of the later content compared to the earlier content is a great compliment to the effectiveness of the Creator's Catalyst Project. Having their expertise guide the completion of the game was a major benefit. I hope that you are able to stick with it and find more enjoyment than frustrations!

Hi there,

I just purchased this adventure and it looks wonderful. I wondered if the character requires a certain level as I couldn't see any stated through my quick skim through. Is it intended for low levels?

Many thanks

Hi Baden!
Page 10 has guidance for scaling the adventure based on your character's proficiency bonus. So any level character can play. I will add this to the product page right now.
Thanks for checking us out and I hope you have fun.
Sweet dreams!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
