Now a GOLD Best Seller! Wow! You're all fantastic human beings! Thank you for the support!

Oh, no! Something's wrong in the toy factory! Santa has been bamboozled, and his workshop is overrun with frosty foes, wintry wrongdoers, and North Pole ne'er-do-wells.

A team of Santa's elves manage to escape the workshop warzone and recruit a party of adventurers to go take back toyland.

Can our heroes muster enough cheer and joy to make sure all the good girls and boys get their holiday gifts? Or will everyone forever get stockings full of coal...whether they're on the Naughty List or Nice?

"Claus for Concern" has over a dozen holiday and winter-themed magic and wondrous items, maps of all locations, and full custom stat blocks for enemies and bosses!

This adventure is designed for levels 1-5 with scaling adjustments for parties of different levels. Additionally, my estimation is that you can complete the mission in a 3-4 hour session, but you can easily shorten or extend it based on your party's needs.

----

This particular one-shot could go very well in any arctic campaign as a side-story, and works particularly well with Rime of the Frostmaiden.

And don't miss out on my other Christmas title, Stocking Stuffers and Side Quests, with 13 new magic items, 5 new monsters and stat blocks, and 2 fun side-quests for your party to show their Christmas spirit.

I removed all the previous files, checked the ones I have to make sure they all open and are correct, and re-uploaded them to the title. You should be able to access them now. If not, that might be a server-side issue out of our hands.

Hello, I'm getting an error stating that all the files are missing?

Now that’s odd. I just went in and tested them and refreshed them. All of them should work now—they do on my end. The only one that might give issue is if you see one called v1.1, so be sure to download the v1.2. It and all the map files are downloading and extracting for me now. When I’ve had this kind issue with other titles in the site, logging in with a different browser has helped, as well as purging my browser cache.

Do the wondrous rare items in Santa's Bag of holding require atonement? Concerning the Red Fur-Lined Hat; how long does the "Amorphous Form" last?

Hi, Glenn! I didn't add Attunement to the items from Santa's bag because of this being a quirky one-off and didn't want the players who had this inserted into their regular campaigns to have to decide between fun new Christmas items and their existing attuned items. But taking a look at them all right now, I'm making an edit to republish all of the Fur-Lined items as requiring attunement and for Amorphous Form to last for 10 minutes.

Thanks for helping me see that! Happy Holidays!

I ran this for my group and it was great. The writing had a very nice atmosphere and the items were interesting. Took us 3 hours and we skipped about half the combat for pacing

As is, I think this should be for level 3-5. My group is 3 level 3s, so for the boss battle I removed Santa and Myra Claws as enemies and brought her HP down to 75. Eldara at the end was still way too powerful for them. My group still could not get a hit in, so I had to Christmas magic her AC and HP because the fight was dragging. I don't think a level 1 party could handle a CR 5 boss

It would have been nice to have a weaker version of the boss battle printed there. And more suggestions on lower level combat. Still a good time!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I’m keeping a list of notes for the next update, and I think these are spot on. I appreciate the specifics on what made it harder for your party and will totally get in a scaled version of the boss battle and some lower-level alternates. Thanks again!

I had the level range on the cover, but I had somehow forgotten to add it to the description. It's 1-5, so I updated that when I fixed the cover and added the medal. I also added that I estimate this one to be 3-4h, but it's hard to say. Thanks for the nudge on it!

Love the story. Question? I don't see stairs on the map leading from 8 to 9? And on village DM map should the 2 and three be swapped? Thanks

Hi, Carlos! I will adjust the stairs from 8-9 to be more clear in the next update. As it is, I see them continuing down from 8 to the western alcove in 9. And regarding the village map, I have it as the workshop being the southernmost building in town behind the walls with more of the collected buildings available for the village. But if it works better for your party, swap em up!

Do you have player versions of the maps? Like maps without the numbers on them. I usually run games on roll20 these days so that would make things a lot easier for me. It'd be super helpful if you could include the grid dimensions of the map as well, so that it'll be easier to align it on roll20.

I added the images as a ZIP just now for player maps with no numbers. The squares *should* be 5ft to 1 square. The village map doesn't have a grid from the artist, but it should line up with Roll20 pretty easily. :)

The first map, page 3, has a key which refers to "1: Courtyard where the sleigh lands.".
But there isn't a '1' on the map. I assume it's basically in the middle?

You are absolutely right. I have updated the map to in v1.01 of the PDF. Thanks for pointing it out!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
