Hey Paul,

we've been enjoying this module a LOT! Now my players are eager to know when things continue. More importantly, if the follow up modules are also T1 or T2/T3 respectively?

Cheers, Kathy

That's great to hear! The original plan was to have DKHS as a trilogy. Part 2 would be in Stygia (tier 2) and part 3 would be in Maladomini (tier 3). However, since the CCC program is no longer in effect, I cannot write those adventures anymore. As soon as I am allowed to write adventures set in the Nine Hells, I'll definitely write the continuation for DKHS. As always, thanks for the support and feel free to ask if you have any more questions or concern :)

That's a huge shame, this is such a inspired and unique module. You and the crew deserve the allowance to write a continuation.

As, what a shame! I just finished DMing this and my players were eager to know when the next year would be published. Ah well, if you ever write them as non-AL, I’d definitely buy them!

Any chance you can include the soft copies of the NPCs? This would be really cool for Roll 20 games :D

Hello Paul,

I was wondering if there is a way to actually give grades to the students. I've searched the document, but I am only able to give them a number of collected points. Not a way that I can convert that into a A+, A, B, ...

Cheers, Kathy

Hi Katharina! Thank you for running Devil King High School! The intent of the grading sheet is to determine who has the most (and least) number of points. Making it easier to identify who is the top student in the class and the rankings between the characters. Feel free to say that the top student got an A+, rank 2 student an A, and so forth. Just remember that the top student in Class-1 wrath is not on the same level as a top student in other class sections.

Also, we don't want your players to know that Maru got 666 points on his final grading sheet and Arawyin a whopping 1,001 points right? Right? Please don't tell them.

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
