CRY HAVOC!

The Brelish army advances into the Mournland in a doomed assault on the enclave of the Lord of Blades. A massacre is almost guaranteed – but the adventurers have other goals in mind. Amid the horror of war, they attempt to spring the artificer Sulring Mroranon from his prison. A Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 10, this is the third in a trilogy of adventures, the Dogs of War storyline.

Welcome to the Oracle of War campaign, a new 20-part standalone story for the D&D Adventurers League! You can play this adventure as part of your own Eberron: Rising from the Last War campaign, or as part of the Oracle of War organized play campaign. While this campaign runs under the umbrella of the Adventurers League, it utilizes different rules. You can familiarize yourself with these unique campaign rules by checking out the Oracle of War Player's Guide and Oracle of War DM's Guide, found in the D&D Adventurers League Players Pack.

I may've missed something along the two previous adventures, but where does the assumption that Captain ir'Ranek and Bara know about the Oracle in Part 2 and in the final confrontation come from? In my experience (running a rotating crew of around 30 people up to 09), players tend to be extremely secretive about their Prophetic Coffer of Doom, especially after numerous attempts to steal it from them.
The adventure even uses an 'if' clause about the same thing in part 1.

A bit confused about the spellbook reward. Do players get access to the full spellbook, or one spell of their choice, or both?

According to the legacy event, only one spell.

By choosing that reward, you gain a spellbook (worth the value listed in the Player’s Handbook), which you can sell as per the Oracle of War Player’s Guide, and a legacy event that allows you to copy ONE legal spell at the end of ANY core adventure (letting multiclassed characters, etc. bank it until later).
You don’t get downtime in the Oracle of War campaign (to copy spells normally), which is why there are specific provisions in the Player’s Guide, and legacy events like Grateful Goblin (EB-01) and the one discussed above.

Hope that clears matters up,

Okay, but real quick question... What if the players somehow kill the Lord of Blades in this adventure?

The modules has stop gaps to prevent them from getting to him. As a GM it’s also your job to stop that from happening.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
