This is an EXTENSION AND A MODULE for use with the Fantasy Grounds VTT for D&D 5E.

This Extension provides tools to generate treasure specific to the NPC's encountered.

Add conditions to tables to roll when looting NPCs with specific names, CR, AC, HP, Actions, Traits, Speeds, Types, or ability scores!

Adds Random Treasure Parcels, as well as buttons on the Combat Tracker, NPC's, and Encounters, to generate Treasure or create Random Treasure Parcels.

This extension is best enjoyed with, but not limited by the Dungeon Masters Guide and the Players Handbook modules for use of their Items and Tables.

New Items!

The Module in this package provides homebrewed items stuffed into Random Treasure Parcels for your Players to take as a trophy, crafting material, or an unusual weapon.

There are also Spell Components to provide your spellcasters material needs.

New Tables give you the freedom to get into the game!

Mundane Items and Spell Components are used by the extension when looting Humanoids or Spellcasters.

Get out of the Treasure Horde and start spreading the wealth!

So do I need to this up for each encounter? Why do I need to setup anything, all this should be setup already

You can set up loot and harvest random parcels yourself, or you can use some of the stuff I’ve included, or the Monster Loot modules will work with this extension with some setup in the Options menu.

Given time, it’s possible I could set up loot and harvest parcels for each individual monster manually, but my preferences might be very different from yours.

The automation with Monster Loot and tables provides lots of possibility to customize your looting/harvesting experiences and I encourage others to come to our discord to share modules of setups they’ve made.

Hopefully you’ll find this to be a very useful extension, and after your first setup, should need no more intervention until you see fit.

Hi,

I'm getting this error: Script execution error: [string "enabled"]:7:setValue: Unable to create node

I'm playing on 5e ruleset, latest version of Unity, and I have this extension (and module) with the following modules: 5e 200 Wild Magic Table; 5e Conditions & Effects; 5e Effects coding-Class features; 5e Effects Coding-Feats; 5e Effects Coding-Race traits; 5e Effects Coding-Spells; and ALL 5e Item Effects Coding.

The error triggers when, opening two instances of FGU (one joining as a player and the other as GM) in the same computer, when the "player" instance opens "Backgrounds" and opens, in any background, a rollable table.

I hope you can help me, and I hope that I've explained myself. If not, please let me know any doubts.

Thanks!

This error is harmless, it occurs because I didn't anticipate the players using tables themselves, and it's trying to set the state of the “enabled” button when they open it.

I'll try to work that fix in sometime soon. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Ok, let’s go over the checklist, if none of that works, please come to the discord (link found in the comments here) where we can better assist you.

-npcs must be visible
-npcs must be foes
-if looting dead only, npcs must have wounds equal to their hp (5e doesn’t deal in negative health)
-if you have Map Parcels, items will go to the npc inventory when looting all.
-Modules containing items must be loaded (like the dmg and phb)
-table conditions must be met (“contains” often works better than “matches”. There’s an Option to help with debugging.)

Npc's are dead and visible and foe, modules loaded, have map parcel, but it just make a empty parcel with no name (when it worked it made a parcel with name like goblin/bandit or so), if i set to all foes, and press loot, i see in chat he makes roll for every foe, but then just open sheets for every foe, if i press loot on there then i get the parcel to generate the parcel for that mob (where he rolls 2 time on invidual treasure)

Some other things:
- the random treasure parcel associated with that npc may need to be deleted and recreated if you attempted to loot without the modules loaded
- not all npcs will get loot, just ones that are predefined or ones that have the appropriate tables or have items from your library listed in their AC or actions.
- when it opens the npc sheet, it should be adding it to the “inventory” tab, instead of making a combined parcel, so they can drop the loot.

Also, do not rename npcs within the combat tracker manually. If they are unique, create them in the library.

I have a question. I use the Hamund's Harvesting Handbook series. It has several loot tables depending on the encounter such as the Duergar. The duergar have a random "trinket" table that is rolled on when looting them. Is there a way I can make it so that when I click the loot button the table will roll on these tables?

Yes! So in this instance, whatever table it is, there is a tab for conditions. You would set a condition like “If name contains duergar” or “if type contains duergar”. Only one of those though. Enable the table, and if “duergar” is found in either the name or type field respectively, then it will roll the table to add to the final loot parcel.<br /><br />
Hope this helps.

The module contains a few tables, could you supply all that you use? I am spending a lot of time duplicating and editing the ones I have. :)

I pretty much just use what I’ve provided or stuff from the DMG module. Anything else is more unique to the campaign I’m currently running. I’d be happy to guide you through setup if you’re having troubles though. I’m easily reachable on the discord channel provided in the announcement when loading up a campaign or mentioned further in the discussion.

Thanks. I actually use "Vex's Random Treasure Tables", with this. Works great. I just have to edit every one of his tables to include the criteria from here, which is fine, but I have 3 campaigns to do it on :)

Note that if you loot monsters that do not already have a random treasure parcel made (look in the “parcels” library to find the button to “random treasure parcels”) it will make those random treasure tables for you automatically. This is what I think you mean but if it’s not, please come to our discord mentioned above so we can figure it out with screenshots and stuff

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
