Hey Sean, know others have asked about this before but it has been some time since. Cant speak for others but I am dying to get my hands on the Tier 1 Salvage Mission maps. Are you still planning to release them sometime soon? I would honestly just buy the maps for the "Hundred Shard Stash" adventure if you had them ready.

Hi Benjamin,

We do still intend to get the Salvage Mission maps out, but unfortunately they keep getting pushed down the priority list by other things. I can tell you that half of the maps are complete, and a soon as I find some time in between other releases, I will finish up the rest. Watch this space.

Same question, I see base maps, but not mission maps. Done / available?

Hi John,

Salvage Missions are still on hold at the moment. As you've probably noticed, the detail and quality of the maps for the main storyline and Epics have increased markedly during the second year, which has left less time for other projects. At some point these will be completed, likely alongside a refresh of the year one maps, but we don't yet have a date for this.

I apologize for posting about this again but it would appear that my original discussion wasn't marked to be followed and I don't know how to follow an old discussion. I also haven't seen a reply to my reply in my original discussion so I assume replies to discussions don't send you notifications.

Back in late September, you said you were getting close to releasing maps for the salvage missions, but I haven't seen them yet. Am I looking in the wrong place? Do you still plan on releasing these?

Hi Jordan,

Sorry we haven’t got the Salvage Mission maps up yet. Roughly half of the maps are complete, but unfortunately real life has got in the way a little bit. We’ve also been working on maps for EB11, EB12 and EB13 which is taking up quite a bit of time. We still plan to get the Salvage Mission maps out though, hopefully this side of Christmas.

Roughly when do you expect the salvage mission maps to be up for sale? My group is about halfway through the tier 1 main missions and I would love to be able to play the first tier salvage mission with good maps.

Looks like you've got work done on the main quest maps and the 2nd epic, but are the salvage missions still planned for release? I don't see them yet.

The Warforged Colossus obviously, since the party is 3/5 warforged. And they chose the name of Mystic Villa XD

I quite like the security of the Pirate Cave. The Ghallanda Inn is also pretty cool...plenty of space for adding upgrades :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
