This is an EXTENSION for use with the Fantasy Grounds VTT.

This product is meant to be used as an ADDENDUM to the Rob Twohy (rob2e) coding bundle found here.

Mad Nomad's Automatic Actions Tab Additions will AUTOMATICALLY add the actions tab codings from the Rob Twohy modules as you build your PC.

When you add a class, feat, or race trait, and when leveling up, this extension will AUTOMATICALLY add the corresponding codes to your actions tab.

Also when adding items to inventory, codes for those will be added as well.

Not only that, it also CATEGORIZES each entry.

Richard I spent a long time helping you with this. Even joined your server and confirmed it was working. Have you tried anything beyond your one bizarre scenario? At this point I'm not sure you understand what it's supposed to do.

It doens't work reliably with the character wizard yet, unfortunately, but I'll get there eventually. It's just not high enough priority amongst all the items I'm working on, since I don't personally feel there is much need for the wizard, especially using this. But I will try to support it as soon as possible.

MadN, I tried connecting to my server as a player, and it was not working for me, just some parts, and that was for many of the classes. I don't know what is going on, as I did have you connect with me and it seemed to be doing what it was suppose to be doing from your point of view. I was just reaching out to see if anyone else has been having this odd thing happen to them and what they may have found in their setup to cause this. The post was not intended as "saying this does not work" but a hail mary for my situation. Hope you were not offended by the post. I have all the Rob2e codes and effects package activated so I really do not know what is going on.

Richard, think we finally tracked down your issue. It seems that sneak attack doesn't auto populate correctly for a new character if you have the version of Rob2es spell codings that uses "Sneak Attack +" This was a recent change so many people probably didn't have this, including myself, which is why it didn't recur often. I'll be releasing a patch to fix this and a few other one off features that have different naming used in spell effect vs feature name. But again this was just for the one scenario you kept trying, I suspect for other scenarios yours was working ok. If not, then it must be something different. If you want tot est, you can edit the name of the Rob2e Spell "Rogue:Sneak Attack +" to "Rogue: Sneak Attack"

I like what you have added. If you use the new character creator wizard it does not seem to add racial abilities to the actions tab. If you build a character the old fashion way it works great. Is there anything you can do to fix that?

I bought the bundle so if I am picking the wrong extension please let me know.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with the character wizard. I'll try to resolve in the future. A partial quick fix though is if you just click on your race and drag it back to the race area, itll auto add that stuff.

Understood. The challenge is not sure what all gets added when you do that. I saw with Dragonborn that the stats also get added again so I would need to go back and remove those, etc. I hope there are hooks you could tied to when it comes out of the wizard. I am sure that will not be an easy task. It is a very nice addon. Thanks for making it.

I have purchased the Rob2E Codes bundle, and I have Unity Version that is up to date (for now) and I started making a Halfling Rogue with a criminal background. The only thin it put into my actions tab was Halfiling Trait Naturally Stealthy and Items: Ball Bearings, Crowbar, Lantern and Oil and the Weapons Dagger, rapier etc... Nothing else appears in the actions tab. Does not even put sneak attack in.

I just duplicated your scenario and it worked fine. Are you sure you had all the relevant Rob2E codes turned on? I'll provide follow up help on the discord server if needed.

So I tried it again, checked your extension turned on, all Rob2E codes are loaded, and i see it class feature Sneak attack added on the chat window, but not in my actions tab.

True, it does not work with the character wizard yet. Something on my roadmap though. I did not even know the character wizard existed at the time of creation. But character wizard is only good for lvl 1. This will work fine for character wizard characters after lvl 1 though.

Ran a new game with this two days ago, everything we needed worked beautifully.

This is one of the best mods for FG. This mod and the Fantasy Grounds 5E Background & Class Equipment Bundles mod makes the DM the storyteller and not the admin.

These are the best quality of life mods I have tried.

Mad Nomad and Rob2e are legends.

Definitely works. Do you have rob2es stuff legit from dms guild? File names need to match. Redownload robs effects packages. Also should not have problems with almost all extensions but try disabling them just in case to test.

Update Aug 19th 2020 - New version available.
- Added compatibility with Diablo Bob extensions
- Added new feature to automatically add starting items when adding level 1 class and background
- Addresses all known issues with action creation, except for extra channel divinity options being added. (will try to resolve in next update.)
- Next update will address some compatibility issues with other extensions

I see its downloadable in multiple file formats. I have both FG and FGU, wanting to use FGU; so if I buy this I get it for both formats? I have some of the coding bundle I bought for the previous version, going to buy the full bundle and this as well if I can use it for both formats?

Interesting idea, but I”m seeing effects being applied over broadly. For instance, 1st level characters with quarterstaffs are being given advanced magical quarterstaff items. I imagine it’s just matching the term “quarterstaff” etc. and adding all the possible effects from Rob’s modules. Or am I just using this incorrectly?

I just bought this yesterday and tried out last night. I made a druid and it added a whole whack of items, like magic leather, magic weapons, wondrous items (loved the ring of mind blank). I just thought i would drop you a line when I saw this pop up in a facebook feed.

Hi Robert. Ya, unfortunately, I missed a big bug when publishing this which caused it to add a bunch of extra stuff when adding mundane items to the sheet. Like if you added a club, it would add every magic club to the actions tab. But, I have already fixed that last night with a hotfix. Just update your files from the DMsguild. I will also be publishing a new version very soon which will fix some other much smaller bugs and some compatibility issues with other extensions.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
