Warforged or Warforged Unknown

ADD TO WISHLIST >

This is a duet style game for one player and one DM and estimated gameplay is 4 to 6 hours for one character of 6th level.

In Warforged or Warforged Unknown, the character wakes up to their memory cell missing and a friendly mechanical hound attentively following them around. The character travels through the Imistil Forest and the foothills of Eberron is search of their memory cell...before it is lost forever. The adventure offers plenty of adventure hooks to continue the story. A unique mechanic of a "blank slate" background because the character has lost their memory cell. This mechanic is flexible for different play styles and encourages a collaborative story building adventure between the player and the DM. The adventure also has additional lore about what happened to Warforged after The Last War ended.

Included with the 20 page adventure:

  • 5 maps: Regional, Village, and battle maps that are ready for your favorite VTT!
  • Pre-generated character sheets for a low prep game.
  • Villain art assets for creating a VTT token.

Hi Bob, I've just bought and read through this adventure. Excited to try it out with my husband soon! You mention a "Grick" for section 6B of the map (pg 13), and that it can be found in Appendix A, however I can't see it. I've found it on D&D Beyond, is that the version you intended to be used in this adventure?

Hi Bethany! Thank you so much for purchasing and I hope you enjoy running it with your husband!!

Thank you for letting me know. Yes, the Grick from dndbeyond is the correct stat block. I will make sure to fix this error in version 2, which is being worked on. Thanks for the catch, and enjoy!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
