Take to the wine-dark seas of Theros with Odyssey Anthology Volume I: In Callaphe's Wake. Taking inspiration from the Odyssey and other Greek myths and Greek-myth-inspired media, the Odyssey Anthology provides everything an adventure will need to plot a course across the Theran seas like the legendary seafarer Callaphe, upon oceans dotted with islands rife with myth and mystery, each with their own adventures.

"The Odyssey Anthology Volume 1: In Callaphe’s Wake is an unbelievably impressive achievement, which adds absolutely boatloads of new content for Theros and beyond! Each one of these ten islands are brought to vivid life, filled with people, places, monsters, trials, ordeals and secrets. Not to mention the new ships, crew options, items, creatures and lore! This truly is an absolute need for anyone who even considers running a game on Theros or anyone who appreciates beautiful world building and wonder!" -CurseOfSebs

Included in Volume I are rules for 4 new ship types (the pentekontor, trireme, quinquereme and trade ship), complete with deck maps, a rules system for feeding a crew, and alternate crew role rules, based on the crew roles of Ancient Greek naval ships, and 10 island adventures:

  • Anoktato, the Upside Down Island, by Ashton Duncan- A thriving Merfolk community dwells on the underside of a floating island, while above them undead roam the bleached coral-beds out of the water, guarding a secret of Erebos, God of the Dead.
  • Phaistyn: The Isle of Splinters, by Olobosk - Ruled by the harpy-queen Esmeralda, a clamour of blood-toll harpies roost in jagged rock spires, capturing sailors from passing ships, who they keep in their shipwreck-nests in preparation to sacrifice their captives to Uro, the Titan of Nature's Wrath.
  • Triandría, the Island of Three Sisters by Kaleton Martinson - A trio of nymphs protect an idyllic pastoral island of white beaches and Nyx-blessed forests - natural orchards where enchated golden apples grow. Should characters treat the island with respect, they will be welcomed by the nymphs - well aware of much greater threats to the island on the horizon...
  • Amvenitos, Seat of Affliction by Zeke Gonzalez - A rocky outcrop girded by waterfalls, Amvenitos is a jungle island overgrown with flora and fauna that can be used to brew both poisons and cures, under the stewardship of three Medusa devotees of Pharika, the god of Affliction.
  • Aramos, The Island of Thread and Dye by Bayley Gillier - An island famous for producing fabrics and dyes, Aramos thrives on sea-going trade. Yet when the ruler's daughter begins to weave with the threads of destiny itself and draw the ire of Klothys, God of Destiny, the people of the island are put in terrible danger.
  • Dece, An Island on the Brink by V.J. Harris - The island of Dece is home to two warring factions - the soldiers of Dece and Pirates of Nikea. When characters arrive on the island, both sides see an opportunity to gain the upper hand in the battle to decide the fate of the island.
  • Robaetys, Bacchanal Bloodbath by Wyatt Trull - Content Warning - Mind control, violence towards NPCs with agency removed, memory loss, possible loss of player agency, encouraged drinking of alcohol, ritual sacrifice, burning (on bonfire) and humanoids being cooked alive (on spit), inability to vocalise pain.  A tranquil island thrown into merry turmoil by the arrival of a band of satyr revellers. Though the celebrations seem innocent at first, a local Nymph has plans to drive the satyrs into much more violent delights...
  • Sherydis, The Slumbering Maw by Carlos Cisco - Content Warning - Being Inside a Digestive System, Bodily Fluids, Ulcers. Sherydis appears first as a whirlpool, but only in the depths of the ocean is the truth revealed - that Sherydis is an ancient, slumbering kraken, the only escape from which is a journey through its digestive system, with the cryptic aid of another past survivor.
  • Illion, the Archipelago of Eternal Night by Nemo Bueno - Far from the Theran mainland, Illion lies shrouded in night, and out of sight of the gods. Shielded from their wrath, a nyxborn pirate takes shelter from the god he wronged, though even he does not know the extent of secrets this island holds.
  • Navagos, Isle of Wrecks by Frederic Walker (Kor-Artificer) - A mass of shipwrecks piled upon shipwrecks between the bones of a long-dead kraken, Navagos is a labyringth of twisted wood, guarded by undead amalgamations of crew and wreckage, at the center of which lies a shipwreck once sailed by the legendary mariner Callaphe, stocked with enchanted provisions.

Also included are rules for NPCs and monsters, including new foes like the noxious Terástios Boar, the storm-wreathed harpy queen Esmeralda, and the waterlogged Rotted Hulk.

Is there any chance of getting the boat images from the pdf available as a separate set of files? I'd like to use them in a game, but they don't exactly come out properly if you copy them from the supplement.

There are hooks for adventures of each adventure tier. Some islands have adventure seeds for multiple tiers of play, but most are tiers 1-3.

You could use the anthology volumes to run an entire campaign from levels 1-20, especially when volume three comes out (tomorrow iirc), which features a unique CR 30 kraken from Theros lore.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
