WELCOME BACK TO THE FRONTIER

On the edge of the Mournland, tensions are rising between the frontier folk and renegade warforged loyal to the Lord of Blades. When salvage workers start to go missing, the Brelish army sends the adventurers into the Mournland to mount a rescue. A Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 8, this is the first in a trilogy of adventures, the Dogs of War storyline.

Welcome to the Oracle of War campaign, a new 20-part standalone story for the D&D Adventurers League! You can play this adventure as part of your own Eberron: Rising from the Last War campaign, or as part of the Oracle of War organized play campaign. While this campaign runs under the umbrella of the Adventurers League, it utilizes different rules. You can familiarize yourself with these unique campaign rules by checking out the Oracle of War Player's Guide and Oracle of War DM's Guide, found in the D&D Adventurers League Players Pack.

The printer friendly V2 version looks to be a revision copy with revision notes taking up the right side of the entire PDF.

I seem to have noticed that a few of the warforged statblocks seem to be lacking poison damage resistance while I was going through for prep.

In fact checking their stat blocks all of the warforged except for the Blade Privates are missing the poison damage resistance.

Folks, we have updated a V2 of the files to fix a few issues with the AR and some missing legacy event notes.

I'm trying to imagine what the elemental hover wagon looks like. Has there ever been any artwork of something like this?

It's a new creation. I imagine its design is fairly brutal and simplistic, as it was designed by House Cannith for bulk frontline service in the Last War. I like to imagine it as looking a bit like a sandcrawler from Star Wars, with a bed of lightning instead of rollers.

On a similar note, the AR only has the players getting paid 20 GP in the playtest it was 250. I assume this is a typo where the 5 was deleted?

There is also no mention of how much they're getting paid in the section where they actually meet the quest giver only in the AR.

This version of EB-08 no longer includes the reference to Sky Blue being present from the Mark of the Sphinx legacy event found in the prerelease version. It now only mentions the Wing and a Prayer legacy event. Is this intended? I ask because Sky Blue should be with the players from the Mark of the Sphinx event as well per that legacy event which has the Sphinx ask them to look after Sky Blue.

Thanks, I'm not sure how that happened. We'll fix it - references to Wing and a Prayer should also mention Mark of the Sphinx.

The sandbox element of the Conclave seems very intriguing. Certainly look forward to running this tomorrow~

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
