Flavorful Eldritch Blasts

Suggested Price $0.10

Eldritch Blasts get bland after a while as there isn't much you can do to vary them from Warlock to Warlock, this supplement is a way to add some variety to Eldritch Blast based on your Patron.

Notice: If you have any ideas or complaints, to better balance the cantrips, feel free to bring them up and I'll work to fix them.

I was hoping for more variety; these are all mechanically Eldritch Blast, but with different damage types, which generally make them *worse* than basic Eldritch Blast. (In the Monster Manual, for example, 66 monsters have Resistance or Immunity to Cold; 77 have Resistance or Immunity to Fire! Why would you want one of those instead of Force?)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention but with a bit of thought, I don't quite see a way to fix this in a way you would like.

The point is that they all are mechanically Eldritch Blast but flavored dependent on your Patron, but you can only go so far before a cantrip becomes a spell. I understand that many monsters have resistances to Cold and Fire but just by taking this spell it doesn't cut you off from Eldritch Blast, Eldritch Blast is technically a prerequisite for all of these meaning that you can go for the Force damage regardless. Also, think of it like this if you're a new player (which wouldn't be on DM's Guild) but maybe their Dungeon Master gave them access to this, they might cast this and then figure out a monster has a resistance which could assist their party, figuring out a monster has a resistance or immunity is also a plus arguably.

I fully understand where you're coming from though, I could just add to the spell descriptions that they ignore any and all resistances...See more

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
